N.J. Logan is not to be trifled with.
This 80-year old Tampa grandma was resting her new hip after recent surgery upstairs in her home, when she heard a "commotion" downstairs and quickly realized it wasn't her husband, who was out playing bridge.
So she grabbed her gun, and ran to the steps.
“I don’t know what was going on in my mind. Honestly, all I wanted was my gun,” she told WTVT-TV, adding that she “really didn’t want to have to shoot anybody.”

I sleep on the far side of the bed from the bedroom door. If I am awakened by someone breaking in my house, I’m going to do two of those three, roll off the bed to the floor (good cover) and then grab my 12 guage and .45 and patiently wait. Sooner or later they’re going to come through that door and I’ll cut them in two.
