Final vote: 225 to 201.

Sure doesn’t feel like much of a victory.

Actually, the bill will die in the Senate along with a hundred or so others.

Five Republicans joined a unanimous Democratic conference to vote against the measure. They were Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Walter Jones (R-SC), Paul Broun (R-GA), Steve Stockman (R-TX) and Scott Garrett (R-NJ).

Anyone who thinks that Congress should be filing lawsuits to stop what's going on is worthless.

Impeachment is the remedy not this. HOWEVER now that it has been put forward it needs to succeed. Putting forward a half-ass plan like this and then having it fail would be even more pathetic

All we can do until November is ... nothing. Wait until we take the Senate and THEN do what needs to be done.

The GOP losership have done nothing during the first six years of the Age of Obama. They’ll do nothing for the last two. Take that to the bank. The day after the mid term everything will be about tip toeing to 2016. The betlway GOP simply do not care about issues important to us like immigration, IRS, Benghazi, etc. They will never substantively engage Obama. Period.

It’s not a bill, it’s a resolution. Senate approval is not required.

Robert the Bruce: Well, maybe it's time.

Robert's Father: [the elder man stops laughing] It is time... to *survive*. You're the seventeenth Robert Bruce. The sixteen before you passed you land and title because they *didn't* charge in. Call a meeting of the nobles.

Robert the Bruce: But, they do nothing but talk.

Robert's Father: Rightly so. They're as rich in English titles and lands as they are in Scottish, just as we are. You admire this man, this William Wallace. Uncompromising men are easy to admire. He has courage; so does a dog. But it is exactly the ability to *compromise* that makes a man noble. And understand this: Edward Longshanks is the most ruthless king ever to sit on the throne of England. And none of us, and nothing of Scotland will remain, unless *we* are as ruthless. Give ear to our nobles. Knowing their minds is the key to the throne.

“This is a huge joke.

Congress has the power of the purse and impeachment.

Filing a lawsuit is ridiculous.”

These Congress critters have only one priority and it is to get reelected (and limit the politics to only two Parties).

They don’t give a dxmn about the Constitution, citizen’s rights, freedoms, ethics or honesty. If they did they would have impeached (not sued) Obama over many other REAL issues, just as they should have gone after Bush for many transgressions too like spying on citizens, failing to defend our borders, and a Patriot Act that was anything but Patriotic. I was never a Bush fan. He was a global neocon corporatist not a conservative. Until we see a POTUS held accountable it will only get worse if Hillary or Jeb get their foot in the door.

C-Span will require registration ? Uh.... Hang on, tex.

C-Span. Wants us to register. To watch. Public TV. What does C-Span possibly want from a registry list ?

Just received via email.

Moments ago, the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation allowing House Republicans to sue President Obama for his unconstitutional executive overreach.

This is a HUGE STEP in stopping President Obama.

Speaker Boehner and House Republicans are suing this Imperial President for expanding his power and control beyond the constitutional and legal limits.

President Obama has failed to uphold the crux of his constitutional duty – to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” – and he must be held accountable.
