Terror is not down in the world but is in fact up, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) said on State of the Union Sunday, and according to the intelligence, “al Qaeda has metastasized.”
Discussing allegations against the NSA by left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald, Feinstein said she was not familiar with some of the specific charges he was leveling but defended the value of the organization given the rise of terrorism in the world.
“We just went through the opening of the 9/11 museum,” she said. “I know they will come after us if they can. I see the intelligence. Terror is not down in the world. It is up. Both deaths, injuries, in many, many different places. Al Qaeda has metastasized. The question becomes how do we prevent an attack in this country.”

The reasoning and logic of them astounds me. During W’s tenure, the Patriot Act - everything he did with respect terror, even to the point of creating the DHS and TSA (in retrospect a horribly disastrous idea) and even the mention of AlQaeda with the word ‘terrorist’ was taboo in the Democrat Lexicon.
Now, for some reason, Feinstein is ‘getting tough.’ She must be up for re-election?

I doubt Feinstein knows the definition of "metastasized." Obviously she doesn't write her own stuff.

Feinstein is one who bought into the Democrat strategy of denial minimizing all aspects of the war against America by Islamic enemies. That denial is in large part the reason AlQuaeda is still coming at us. Sooner or later Islamic terrorism against America and Americans has to be dealt with. Islamic terrorists do not listen to reason. Force is the action they do understand. Democrats and progressives do not have the guts to stop this enemy. Duck and cover and deny is their cowardly defense against AlQuaeda. In the war against terrorism Obama gets an “F”.
We will never win a war against an enemy we are not even allowed to name. CAIR knows that. The Moslem Brotherhood knows that. That is why they are embedded in the current administration.
Rule of Government #1 - Never enact into law a measure that you are not ready to have enforced by your worst enemy. And that, boys and girls, is why GWB should be considered infamous.
