Notre Dame is that University that had about 100 Bishops/Cardinals coming down on the University for inviting Obama to speech.

I guess they are the same old school that does not represent Catholic values.

I still say they should change their name to Knute Rockne U -- they are Football school -- that is all.

This is crazy. So the conservative students could have a table present, but weren’t allowed to have anyone staff the table...at a supposedly Catholic institution. It seems that so many Catholic schools aren’t really interested in following Catholic teachings anymore.

Is it too much to hope that if not the Pope of Rome himself, then at least the local ordinary, will call the administration to account?

whatever my personal views on gay marriage are -they are of no consequence-—BUT—isn’t this an RC school? I thought the RC Church does not support same sex marriage. I guess Notre Damned really doesn’t give a flying focaccia about those things. More importantly, what about freedom of conscience and freedom of speech - I guess that is relative in academia (the highest bastion of the Left along with Hollywood). When the RC church comments about socio-political topics yes, I read what they have to say—but do I really take them seriously? It depends (not the kind that I wear-lol)

They had permission from the administration. They also informed, and got permission from the Notre Dame Storm Troopers. Disgusting. I get emails from TFP and I sent off an email to the head criminal of this used to be Catholic University. Oh I am a Catholic who is tired of this crap.
Christ in the Temple is my Christ. Time to kick some pansy Catholic butt. I have asked the turn the other cheek crowd how meek Christ was when he whipped the money changers in the Temple. Crickets.

The “offended” set routinely calls the police for non-crimes. The police routinely arrest innocent people for non-crimes that violate political correctness.
The police now enforce political correctness.

When was this country founded? How many years did it last as a beacon of freedom?

It started with Hesburgh and the “Land of Lakes” statement more than 40 years ago when the Marxists were marching through the Institutions to take over all perceptions/minds of the masses, especially necessary in the Catholic Church, since along with Abp. Fulton Sheen and the time of Dodd (Bella Dodd), the CC was the most visceral, organized force against Marxism and Freemasonry, and a force for Truth in the World, that even gained the White House of the US.

The Catholic Church had an organization that the Marxists/Communists envied and subverted. it is their M.O.

(It is why all the molestations/homosexual takeover (Fr. Oko’s Report). Vatican II allowed all the chaos/subversion to occur and many people inside the CC know that Masons/Marxists were responsible for setting up the Church for the invasion and looking the other way....”Good Bye, Good Men”.

The Catholic Church had to be subverted/destroyed to gain control of the World. Truth has to be subverted and kids confused—only Lies can be allowed in the public square “for the children” and in the Universities...the Marxist training ground.

I am a classmate of the President of Notre Dame, John I. Jenkins. Jenkins is a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Jenkins needs to resign immediately. So should Bishop Daniel Jenky, CSC of Peoria, Illinois, a member of the ND Board of Fellows, the 12 member group that actually governs ND. As a Fellow, he was complicit in this.

As far as the police are concerned, these are members of the godless goon squad known as the Notre Dame Security Police, or “NDSP”. These jokers generally don’t act on their own but take their marching orders from upstairs, such as the University’s general counsel Marianne Coor.

What is ironic and maddening about this is that, near the University Bookstore, which sells millions of dollars of ND branded merchandise every year in addition to books and school supplies, there is a statue of St. Andre Bessette, the CSC brother from Montreal who was a paragon of hospitality and friendship for travelers and pilgrims. Jenkins, Coor and the other apparatchiks that run ND are the polar opposite of St. Andre.

Notre Dame has been incongruously homophilic for a while now. Back when I was there in 1986, if my memory serves me correctly, they successfully covered up an incident where a priest affiliated with the Theology department died under suspicious circumstances (murder? suicide?). He had been involved with gay S&M groups in the area. For some reason, local law enforcement didn’t investigate this for very long....

What the Daily Caller article doesn’t say, and in fact intentionally obscures, is that the people staffing the table are not Notre Dame students. While a recognized university student group applied for and received the permit, those staffing the table are not members of that group. University policy does not allow outsiders to hand out stuff on campus, which is why they were ordered to stop doing so.
