SALT LAKE CITY -- State Rep. David Lifferth has apologized over his comment that the NAACP is a "racist" organization.
On Tuesday, Lifferth tweeted that "we should have known Don Sterling was a racist when he gave money" to the NAACP. He then tweeted, "Yes, any group that tries to advance specific people based on their race is by definition racist."

Why apologize. He was right!
I like Rush's version of the NAACP:
NAALCP - National Assoc. for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People.
Black's on the Right don't count.

any group that tries to advance specific people based on their race is by definition racist. What's to apologize for?

Thanks Oldeconomybuyer.
"we should have known Don Sterling was a racist when he gave money" to the NAACP. He then tweeted, "Yes, any group that tries to advance specific people based on their race is by definition racist."
He's 100 percent correct, but obviously he needs to be more discreet if he plans to continue in politics.

Kind of the way I see it too. Like unions in the beginning. They had a place, that time has passed.

Can you imagine if there was a NAAWP? A Congressional White Caucus? A White History Month?
But, as we’ve all been told, black people can’t be racists.

You are known by the company you keep. There are certainly many racists in positions of power or influence in the NAACP..
