MILITIA TO BLM: ‘WE ARE PREPARED TO USE DEADLY FORCE’
Breitbart ^ | April 24, 2014 | By Bob Price

Posted on 04/25/2014 2:43:35 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

One of the militia groups who joined the effort to “protect” the Bundy family and their ranch from the armed Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rangers admitted they are prepared to use deadly force in self-defense in Nevada or Texas. Several militia groups have joined ranks to provide “protection” to keep the BLM from taking property from the Bundy Ranch, most of which operates on federally owned land.

Scott Shaw, co-founder of the Oklahoma Volunteer Militia says he is just an average American who goes to work every day and pays his taxes. He described his militia members as “every-day citizens ...We just have a strong conviction for freedom and liberty and upholding the Constitution. We are just here in case our court system fails us and we have to stand up to the federal government.”

In talking about the armed force of BLM rangers, Shaw described it as questionable. “If you’re there to get your money back that [Cliven Bundy] allegedly owes you, there are several ways you can do that in a court of law. You can put a lien on his property; you can put a lien on his cattle. If it truly was about getting back the back fees, why did [the BLM] take the cattle, or round the cattle up, which are the asset you’re going to sell--why would you kill several of those?” Recent reports revealed several cattle that were killed allegedly by the BLM during the standoff earlier this month.

Shaw affirmed that his militia members who deployed to Nevada were armed with a variety of military style weapons including AR-15s, AK-47s and others. They also include precision shooting firearms like deer hunting rifles and other military surplus items...

As you’ve been told, 85% of a State exceeds the “fort/dockyard/post office” limit in Art 1 Sec 8 sub 7/17.

Not arguing for any particular percentage other then less than 20% but the point is Art 1 Section 8 does not put a percentage limit.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area includes Lake Mead and Hoover dam. These are about 5 miles from the edge of the 600,000 acres in question.

While I’m generally sympathetic to their cause, standing up to the .gov in a straight-up ‘battle’ is little more than a loud symbolic suicide. If they’re determined to go that route, they would be well served to read up on insurgency efforts.

He says they won’t fire unless fired upon. If Reid was to show up it would be very difficult not to change the ROE.

>>the government took what many believe to be improper actions that led to the unnecessary deaths of American citizens.<<

All those agents, officers, public officials have the blood of lil children and woman on their hands from Waco/Ruby Ridge.

We should never allow this to happen again...never.

The Powhatan tribes in coastal Virginia used to tie up their captives and then the women would take sharp oyster shells and skin them alive.

But the Natives were docile naturalists, you see. Not warlike at all. /s

Are you still banging that drum? Get over it already. This had nothing to do with Hoover Dam and everything to do with Harry Reid’s Bunkerville LLC buying up all the land in that area with the exception of this one piece with this one lone rancher standing in his way. For crying out loud... go away.

Correction... Reid Bunkerville LLC didn’t buy up all the land around Bunkerville. They seized it. With the help of the BLM.

The orange fireballs seen by surviving witnesses and the creation of flue-like conditions with 30 mph winds make it clear it was a massacre. The Concrete Room--women and children killed by a bomb placed on top. FLIR analyst Carlos Ghigliotti found 200 shots into the compound that day. They intended the same for Bundy but there were many guns and cameras. Second Attack

F’ Beck and Vannity. I am so done with both of them Vannity couldn’t wait to throw Bundy under the bus.
******************************
Agree! I thought it was dispicable that O’Reilly and Hannity both jumped out there and said that Bundy’s comments were, essentially, ‘racial’.

They never mentioned the context of the comments, but referring to the PC ‘incorrect’ use of the word Negro.

I expected as much from O’Reilly, but Hannity REALLY disappointed me.

Bundy was just trying to communicate that in recent decades the overreaching Federal welfare system has ruined the family life of the blacks by making them so dependent on government handouts. ...In general, they no longer have father/mother/kids family units. Most pregnancies are to unweds, 70% are aborted, very high % never graduate HS, high % can’t get jobs, etc. .......He (Bundy) was comparing the present day blacks to the black families that were slaves in the past, where they were able to live as families, raise kids; were fed, housed and clothed by their owners and generally led happier lives together.

It was only a minority of slave owners who were cruel to their slaves. The slaves were valuable to most owners, as the women and girls usually worked in the house as cooks, nannies and maids, while their men and older boys worked the farms.

I expect some flack for this posting, but I’ve done genealogy and history research and read some old documents via Ancestry, libraries, etc.

Finally... Most of the media has failed to mention that many well known blacks have publically stated that what Bundy said was correct and that it was not racist. ...It’s sickening to see how Political Correctness has impermeated journalism and the public in general.

I look at the pictures of the Davidian place and wonder what they could have done to fortify against those tanks.

I'm pretty sure they never thought the gubbamint would come with tanks, but if they did...what could they have done?

It came from that Nevada Assembly critter that the CNN weenie tried to back down. She tore him a new one and apparently coined it.
