It is the New American Fascism. And make no mistake the perpetrators are proud of it. Lets begin with dates and names.
August 7, 2008: The New York Times reports that
Nearly 10,000 of the biggest donors to Republican candidates and causes across the country will probably receive a foreboding warning letter in the mail next week. The letter is an opening shot across the bow from an unusual new outside political group on the left that is poised to engage in hardball tactics to prevent similar groups on the right from getting off the ground this fall.
Led by Tom Matzzie, a liberal political operative who has been involved with some prominent left-wing efforts in recent years, the newly formed nonprofit group, Accountable America, is planning to confront donors to conservative groups, hoping to create a chilling effect that will dry up contributions.
October 15, 2009: ESPN reports that Rush Limbaugh will be dropped as a limited partner in a bid to buy the NFLs St. Louis Rams franchise. ESPN says:
Three-quarters of the leagues 32 owners would have had to approve any sale to Limbaugh and his group. Earlier this week, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay predicted that Limbaughs potential bid would be met by significant opposition. Several players have also voiced their displeasure with Limbaughs potential ownership position, and NFL Players Association head DeMaurice Smith, who is black, urged players to speak out against Limbaughs bid.
Note: As here, the aforementioned Mr. Smith was, at the time of this controversy, not simply some even-handed player but a seven-time contributor to President Obama or Democrats.....

Well, of course, we have our own lists.
Unfortunately, we are not the ones that can rain down hellfire on those on our list.
Members of the NSA.
Members of the BATFE.
Members of the IRS.
Members of the BLM.
Members of the EPA.
Members of the DEA.
Members of the TSA.
Members of the FBI.
Members of the FDA.
Members of the USDA.
Really, members of federal government agencies which are (a) not directly authorized by the Constitution, or (b) whose sole duty is authorized by the Constitution, or (c) any government agency, even if authorized by the constitution, of which corruption is endemic.
Agitator/troll was really fast on the draw here, and totally hijacked the comments.
Not being the smartest or swiftest in the mix ... who is the Agitator/troll you speak of. Considering your post is #5, the field is small.
And anyone, including some on FR and some commentators who say those agency have legal authority to push us around.
He’s talking about the comments below the article at the American Spectator website.
Thanks.
Dead.
Unfortunately they also usually take millions of innocents with them.
Yep — I've been thinking that it's the 'little' tyrannies and the 'good' tyrannies, the ones that get looked over which are the ones that grow into the big ones.
It's really disturbing to see people claim to be Constitutionalists who endorse things which are plainly contraconstitutional — the War on Drugs provides an excellent example: in order to support the War on Drugs as legitimate, you acknowledge (implicitly) that the Congress can regulate intrastate commerce… which is the engine of our destruction.
In WI we have a list of those who signed the petition to recall Gov Walker. Glad I was able to help with that :-)>
My political education grows. Thank you
The NFL is in the tank and these jokers should have let Limbaugh buy in. They probably would keep their jobs.
Basketball is worse
I don’t know why they are so against Condi Rice. I have always thought she was more on their side than the opposite.
read it, know it, live it.
Wow
How come it’s always about drugs to so-called libertarians?
As an example to “uppity n*****s” I’m sure. Did you know that she was friends with those girls killed in the KKK bombing of that church basement?
I imagine when government agents are smashing in doors (often the wrong doors) @ 4:00AM and performing forced rectal exams as part of the War on Grapefruit, we'll be all over that one, too. Until then, it's the failed drug war that gets our attention.
