I saw this article on Drudge.
Hard really, to accept what it saying.
China is a very large, communist country.
There are more than a billion people there, I often hear Christianity despite all is the fastest growing religion in the world and a lot of that growth must be in China!
Declared, maybe not. Practicing, yes. We have a lot of ‘Christians’ of the Pelosi variety.
I have met a number of Chinese who came here and joined Christian churches.
The idea of same sex parent families is alien to them.
It’s almost as if God is saying you’ve seen what kind of world Europeans and Americans lived under Christianity and Asia without. Now you can see what happens to an Asia under God, and what happens to a USA and Europe away from God.
I knew a girl who went to China around 15 years ago. She attended college there as a secret missionary and to learn Chinese Mandarin.
I find it hard to believe that the Chinese authorities did not know what she was doing. She was unusually pretty which might have helped.
I highly recommend reading “Jesus in Beijing” by David Aikman. It is a real eye opener.
I have no doubt that, in these latter days, God will use the Chinese church to shake the world.
I have been to China, and I believe this. Some evidence is that I have seen protest signs in Hong Kong protesting for more religions freedom. Yes, that is Hong Kong, where things are pretty loose, but there is evidence from deep in China as well. One of my Chinese friends was telling me that at Christmas and Easter, churches sell tickets to attend because there are so many people trying to go to church. They display Christian symbols as well, including things like Christmas trees, Santa Clause. We think of them as materialistic beside the point kind of things, but the symbols are being absorbed by them.
Hopefully true.
China was a full-fledged civilization when Jesus walked the earth, let’s not forget that either. I guess they were comparatively advanced at that time.

So the Putin fan club will also include Xi Jinping. Sure. Why not? Invite both Russia and China to invade and occupy our country in hopes that they’ll preserve the debt/revenue suckage of the political/regulator class.
Political speech is a laugh riot these days.
Quite a few Chinese expatriates disagree very much with the author of that piece. There’s no real freedom of religious expression in China. It’s very regulated.
Some of the best Christians I know are Chinese.
In China, you’re only a Christian if you truly want to be a Christian. In the modern West it seems many Christians are only nominal Christians because it is expected.
I know a Chinese woman whose father was a general with Mao on the Long March. She fled communist China with her husband to live in the US, and she has become a Christian.
There are many more like her in China, who long for the Holy Spirit to enter their lives, and who seek something more than simply surrendering to the brutal corruption of the Communist Party and the crassest kind of nihilistic materialism.
China has more English speakers than the US. What people fail to grasp is how BIG China is.
I could believe that China has a lot of quiet Christianity going on in it.
Earthly prosperity fails to satisfy.
May God bless China and may China prove to be a blessing in the world. One characteristic of living Christian faith is radical voluntary sharing.
The underground Catholic church numbers are unknown and considering the terrible persecution and martyrs there along with the other denominations that flourish beneath the radar since the Communists came to power, I think China could be more Christian than the US.
It isn’t about numbers. This isn’t a competition. This is about the faithful in Christ who truly suffer. I can’t emphasize their suffering enough. They are in danger, persecuted, suffer and die because they have faith.
Our brothers and sisters are an example for me when I whine about being too tired to pray or grumble about the inconvenience of missing a meal once in a whle.
We are at the very beginning of statist imposition on religion. It’s going to get worse. I think before the end of this decade it will be difficult, but it is noting like the suffering the Chinese are undergoing to follow Christ.
Duplicate post. There was the setup with the usual fake title,...
More Christians in China than the USA?
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3146502/posts
[Real title: China on course to become ‘world’s most Christian nation’ within 15 years]
...and the duplicate today. See how that works?
China is not free. Neither is Russia.
