Jeb Bush defends ‘act of love’
Politico ^ | April 10, 2014 | Maggie Haberman

Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.”

the GOP has no one to run. THey are mumbling incoherently frightened as can be to have to give in to the conservatives.

But they have no body.

Chris Christie? Wow. No.

Perry? Maybe they’ll run Bill Clinton. Now that would make sense. As much as Jeb does.

Did then Governor Bush uphold his constitutional duty and oath to enforce the border and immigration law?

Or, did he look the other way while the foreign invasion of family love was taking place?

How much love does he have for those who supported and elected him and donated to his campaigns, only to find themselves competing for jobs, educational opportunities and the government services that their taxes pay for, with people who by law shouldn't even be here?

In other words, whose side is he on? We, the people, or we are the world and that new world's order?

Never mind...I think I know the answer.

Bill Clinton actually had a conservative action or two in office. the GOP would reject him outright because of it. The new standard is Mitt Romney. They have at least equal his liberalism.

Great. So when someone in need breaks into Jeb’s home and steal him blind, it’s not a felony it’s “an act of love”. Idiot.

I was kidding but it is striking to struggle for an argument that Romney is more conservative than Bubba.

one thing that is surely happening is that the R field of potential candidates is narrowing itself (foot in mouth disease).

and now Hillary, bless her, is cancelling speaking engagements because she is afraid of meeting the voting public in light of her “record” and her cavalier attitude to murdered American citizens on her service

will we have any candidates still standing by 2016?
(Does anyone know if Bachmann will seek the nomination? I rather liked her... as I do Sarah...and a couple others but they are falling like bowling pins in a championship playoff)

This just proves how really stupid this guy and the GOPe really is. Trying to test flight how liberal he can be and now nobody want him.

Enforcing our existing immigration laws would be an act of love towards American citizens who are struggling to get by in our collapsing culture and economy. From his perch high upon the power elite structure, Jeb can’t possibly understand that.

Right now there are Mexican citizens who are standing up against corrupt government and drug dealers to make their towns and cities safer. They could use the help of illegals who have run away from that fight to the comfort of our welfare systems. Where’s the love Jeb?

Jeb is confusing rape with seduction. The country is getting screwed by illegal immigration, but that does not make it an act of love.
