“The sheriff has told the feds their swat team can go up against his swat team.”

You wouldn’t, by chance, have a link for that, would you?

Good evening. I hope you are doing well.

Ray 76 found this little tid bit...

Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone

http://www.blm.gov/pgdata/etc/medialib/blm/wo/MINERALS__REALTY__AND_RESOURCE_PROTECTION_/energy/renewable_references.Par.48679.File.dat/Regional%20Mitigation%20Strategy%20for%20the%20Dry%20Lake%20Solar%20Energy%20Zone,%20Technical%20Note%20444%20%28March%202014%29.pdf

Methinks Harry Reid has his paws on this.

Violence might be what Obama and democrats want... we need to tread very softly - especially with the mixed ethics on this one... Klamath was blessed with being clean cut... our side was right. This doesn’t have that advantage.

I knew the sheriff at the time of the Mt. Carmel burning. The feds contacted him and he told them he’d call Koresh and Koresh would come in. The feds refused so the sheriff told them he wasn’t going to help them one bit. The McClennan County Sheriff’s Department was all pro citizen at that time.

A bunch of law enforcement agencies went after a former DA in Waco basically he embarrassed the Texas Rangers. The IRS, DEA, FBI, Waco City Police and several other agencies came after him. He ended up winning and became a millionaire thanks to Channel 8 in Dallas and their liable of the man. The only agency that refused to have anything to do with it was the sheriff’s department.

"The Federal government is not going to stand down"

That's right. He could wave a magic wand, making every single federal agent within 10 miles of his place vanish, and 100x more would be right back there within a day or two with enough weapons, ammo, and various other armaments to drop him 10,000 times over. The media will portray him to be some sort of anti-government, racist, child molesting psychopath(if they haven't already). There will be cheers when they burn his place to the ground, and haul out what's left of him. 0bama's poll numbers might even go up a little afterwards.

“It’s not the hill I would pick to die on.”

How about authorized “first amendment zones” then?

Okay, can you cite the enumerated power for the federal government to own most of the land in some states? I am aware of a provision that states that they may have exclusive jurisdiction over and area “not exceeding ten Miles square.” Please tell us how article one, section eight give exclusive jurisdiction of most of Nevada to the federal government.

I’m trying to find out more about the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone, which individuals and companies are involved, and so forth.

Even if Reid is not in on this, the issue is that there is a man being thrown off his property at gun point and being dispossessed of his business so that another business may benefit. Whether his cattle were on public land is a separate issue but it provides the pretense to this illegal taking of property and business.

It was on a news show. I can’t remember if it was Fox, Sixty Minutes or what. But he was asked why he was helping the rancher and he said “Because what the BLM is doing is illgal.” I remember telling my wife at least there’s one sheriff out there who will stand with the people. And remember, the daughter says the feds are targeting the sheriff.

The U.S. has owned that land since 1848.

Why?

Sounds Marxist to me.

Yes, if the federal government or its agents claim the authority to establish and enforce 1st Amendment zones, I could see myself defending that hill.

Why?

There is a legitimate argument that the federal government has no business owning 80% of Nevada.

If the U.S. owns the land...

Maybe the Chicoms now own it and want the rancher evicted.

Gov. Sandoval could choose to step up and protect Nevada’s citizens from federal tyranny.

The federal government has shut down a scenic but windswept area about half the size of the state of Delaware to round up about 900 cattle it says are trespassing.

If they put that much effort into rounding up illegal aliens, the unemployment rate for AMERICANS would be around 4%.

Why didn't they just purchase the cattle and then have Bundy deliver them? People at public high school cafeterias are starving in America. They need this meat.
