Folks like Moms Demand Action, a campaign run and funded by Michael Bloomberg, keep trying to make the association between cigarettes and guns. It’s a smart move, since the “progressive” movement was very successful in branding those who argued in favor of cigarettes as being in the pocket of “big tobacco” and kept ramming through more restrictions on when and where people can enjoy their favorite tobacco products. In their minds, guns are no different — a scourge on the country with no benefit whatsoever. They even say as much in the copy accompanying this Facebook post . . .

cannabis cigarettes = good
I have seen many smokers die young (50s, 60s), but they were able to work at a full time job.
Marijuana consumers rarely work. Don’t know about life expectancy relative to tobacco or average life span.
But on an economic scale, shifting from tobacco to cannabis is bad for overall productivity.

I've seen the same thing. Regular pot smoking makes you lazy and lowers ambition. I grew up in the '60's and saw it over and over. Even alcoholics try to maintain a standard of living with their jobs.
The upside of making pot legal is the reduction of profitable criminal smuggling (cartels), killings, less prison population, and I can finally stop hearing the whining potheads.
BTW, why is pot legal in Colorado when it's still a federal offense and the DOJ has said nothing about it? Oh right, it's Obama's DOJ that selectively enforces laws.

A lady was filling her tank at a gas station, smoking a cigarette, even though all the signs say not to.
The fumes that came out of the gas tank ignited, severely burning her hands. But it also lit up her arm, too! Instead of rolling on the ground to put it out, she panicked. She took off running down the street.
A policeman car was at the intersection where it happened and he tried to stop her to put out her arm, but she just kept running and screaming.
All the officer could think of doing was to shoot her. This took everyone by surprise.

Well, lighting a cigarette in a no smoking zone has been known to make uptight people have “dog strokes”.
On the flip side of that, I about wanted to strangle an Army Captain who was standing in a parking lot, surrounded by soldiers who were cleaning equipment with gasoline, and he was literally standing in a shallow pool of liquid gasoline, when he decided to flame up a smoke.
“Sir!”, yelled an NCO standing right in front of his, as he snatched the Captain’s lighter out of his hand. Then the Captain looked at him, puzzled, and reached into his pocket to get another lighter. “Sir!”
Finally, someone said to him that they didn’t mind if his karma was to immolate himself, but we would appreciate it if he didn’t insist we join him in the afterlife just then.
He still had that “deer in the headlights” look to him, so we just asked him to leave.
