Megyn Kelly answers CAIR’s retraction demand: ‘Well, guess what — you’re not getting it!’

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, known as CAIR, has been exerting intense political pressure to cancel scheduled screenings of “Honor Diaries,” depicting practices in Muslim countries, described in the film as “systematic, institutionalized misogyny.”

Agnieszka Karoluk, representing CAIR-Chicago, was unable to dispute the film’s claims after being challenged by Fox News Megyn Kelly, but instead found fault with its producers, the Clarion Project.

“[It’s] a well-known, Islamophobic organization,” she claimed. “What I’m personally disgusted by as a Muslim woman, as a feminist is that someone like the Clarion Project would take this film and use it to promote their own hate-filled agenda.”

Human rights attorney Brooke Goldstein countered that “CAIR is obviously protesting the content of the film,” and said CAIR’s position was “indefensible,” calling CAIR “the PR arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.” She added, “If CAIR doesn’t want you to see it, you should take it a a cue to go out and watch this movie, because you know there’s truth contained therein.”

The back-and-forth between the two women is fascinating, with Goldstein delivering the more debilitating blows.

Kelly jumped in and remarked that CAIR demanded a retraction of her Monday night segment covering the same film. “Well guess what — you’re not getting it,” she said.

“What I’m personally disgusted by as a Muslim woman, as a feminist . . . “

Spare me, you lying %#@!&%%.

I think Muslim woman & feminist are mutually exclusive terms.

Couldn’t help noticing you screen name. I have a 64 Impala S/w with factory 409 and four on the floor.

Another idiot in search of a cause celebre. Self professed feminist who seems to be thrilled at the thought of being treated as half a person. Seems like a typically emotionally and mentally underdeveloped liberal rebelling against mommy and daddy and her Polish heritage for something edgy and cool.

I had, back in 66, a 64 Impala SS with the best engine ever built the 283. It was overall light blue and blue interior. It was factory 3 speed on the column but I put a Hurst Shifter in on the floor. Traded it for a NEW 67 GTO.

I woulda died to have the 409 back then! First big block ever, I think.

I think Muslim woman & feminist are mutually exclusive terms.

That's true but they're both leftists.

ansel12 - You've probably seen this chart but if not, it further supports that White Evangelicals are the last, best hope for America. The one and only religious group that are majority Conservative.

Exactly. Why is a Polish woman converting to such a stupid religion?

The same president that lets his administration (try to) paint the Muslim Brotherhood as “moderate” . . . the same president that goes to the UN and says “(t)he future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”?

Second big block (came out in 1961; quite brutal for its day, with the base version putting out 360 horses with a single 4-bbl Carter AFB carb; the more famous 409 was the one with 409 horses and dual 4-bbl setup).

First big block was the 348, which came out all the way back in 1958. Imagine if they had dropped that into the Corvette of that year, especially the “Super Turbo Thrust” 315-hp version?

“I think Muslim women and feminist...”

I agree. But it maybe a matter of degree. A Muslim woman feminist may just not to have acid thrown in her face for some imaginary fault or be able to not live her life in the dark.

I know...not all do...but it is a strange culture.

‘Islam is a war plan.’

Plus, Islam is a political ideology with a religious component.

1958 Chrysler 392 FirePower hemi, 10:1 compression, 2x4 bbl carbs or FI. That line of engines started in 1951. Used almost exclusively in AA fuel dragsters for many years.

The original 1951 392 was a small block, wasn’t it?

392 was the ultimate of the early hemis. The first Chrysler hemi was a 331. The smallest was a 1953 Dodge with a 241. Chrysler (FirePower), DeSoto (Firedome), and Dodge (Red Ram) all had the hemi motors in different years and models but each brand had its own unique displacements. I had a ‘55 Dodge pickup with a 270.

Actually, the stupid woman thought she looked “hot” in her clown outfit...it was screaming, “look at me.” Would love to have known how she would have been “handled”, had she been responsible for a car accident...

Totally agree. I’ve worked with many and have respect for most as the ones I knew were very hard working, wanting just to improve their family’s lives. As for ones I don’t know, they’re taken with a large grain of salt until I trust.
