Imagine hearing this story from your 5-year-old when you ask her how her day was in kindergarten.
Kudos to these parents for staying calm and teaching this little girl that she can pray absolutely anywhere she wants.

If it were a member of the middle eastern death cult, and she got on a prayer rug and started saying “death to the Jews and Christians, pigs and dogs” they would order the other kids to be quiet and let her pray in peace. Then they have a special prayer room build for her, complete with foot washers and kid-size bomb vests.

Ya know my kids would pray at lunch and never got harassed. It was private, non-obtrusive, and no one cared. And, yes, it was a public school in VA.
Some of these people are really uptight when a prayer shows up.

Yup. That is one of the instances in which it is right to defy. Pray quiet, pray loud, however is suited to the incident, but pray. Why is the lunch lady such a sourpuss? She need to know Jesus.

Just explain to the girl: “The lunchlady is just angry because she is a failure at life, so she takes it out on other people. We should pray for her, and ask God to soften her bitter heart.”
