Both spoke on education policy and the need to make higher education affordable and accessible across the globe.

Uh...why? Don't all those people in all those countries already HAVE governments whose job it is to protect their interests?? Who died and left these two nitwits in charge?

“Globalization of Higher Education Conference.”

That’s actually what it’s called? Not just an Infowars nickname for it? I dislkike this Jeb character more and more each day. Hillary couldn’t sink any lower of course.

The Bush folks and the Clintons are arm in arm. We need to send these two to to the trash heap.

Bush/Clinton Clinton/Bush

At least it would be honest, probably the last honest thing they’d do

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were in Dallas on Monday for the inaugural Globalization of Higher Education Conference.

Two oligarchs are would never trust or vote for.

Leave it to two nimrods from a nation whose own eduction scores are abysmal, to figure out how to bring that same quality of education to the rest of the world.

I marvel at the level of ignorance of those who wish to lead our nation.

I’m sick of this type of so-called leadership.

The idea of some sort of world-wide educational focus is not only grossly over-reaching. It ignores every thing that human experience has ever taught any of us.

Education is inherently local & immediate. It involves the interaction of the individual student with a teacher or with another source. It can be self-directed, of course; but to the extent it is standardized by a bureaucracy, it is self-defeating. The essence of real education must be directed towards the unique personality of the student.

The fallacy, reflected here, in the arrogance of Mr. Bush & Mrs. Clinton, flows directly from the fantasy world of the egalitarian/collectivist; the compulsion to believe that all people have the same educational needs; the same educational potential.

I look at these two oligarchs and wonder....why did our ancestors bother with a revolution 238 years ago? Do we have that much more freedom than the Brits have under a monarch? Are our kakistocrats that much more enlightened than parliament?
