Possible test of some electronic weapon by the Chinese? See if they could EMP a plane.

Most probably catastrophic failure of the aircraft, either due to malfunction (not likely) or induced.

My own opinion at this point is that it was induced and probably terrorism.

But we shall have to wait and see what the black box teels them.

The will find debris out there soon.

Could this be the needed ‘diversion’ to shift people’s eyes away from Obama’s cratering, ongoing failure in the Ukrainian Conflict? I expect that group to cook up something strong, to force a shirt in news focus for a week or two.

The tip of the wing of the same Malaysian Airlines Boeing broke off Aug. 9, 2012, as it was taxiing at Pudong International Airport outside Shanghai. The wingtip collided with the tail of a China Eastern Airlines A340 plane. No one was injured.

Did this aircraft drop off radar shortly after reaching its cruise altitude? If so, sounds like a triggered device or human-caused detonation of explosive based on reaching its ceiling altitude.

Very few airplane incidents/accidents happen at cruising altitude. There are no major control inputs happening which would put stress on the hull or hydraulics and the engines are just humming along.

Depth of Gulf of Thailand is stated to be 45-80 meters, maybe more as you get closer to the South China Sea. Can’t find a decent depth chart, will keep looking.

I just got this off of Fox News website

According to navy Adm. Ngo Van Phat, a regional commander, military radar recorded that the plane crashed into the sea south of Phu Quoc island. The People's Daily, Chinese Communist Party's official newspaper, reported the same information.

It says their radar confirms it fell into the sea. So, they must know where it fell in.

China Airlines Flight 6 (in 1985) plunged 32,000 feet and a crash was narrowly averted. The cause was completely pilot error, so let’s think about that before being so sure that it was terrorism or Chinese EMP attack.
