A part of every Thin Mint and Do-Si-Do, every Samoa and Savannah Smile goes to support abortion advocacy. So say John Pisciotta, who runs a tiny pro-life organization in Waco, Texas, and a dozen national pro-life organizations he has convinced to join him in a national boycott of Girl Scout cookies that will be announced in Texas tomorrow.
A few weeks ago, the Girl Scouts designated Wendy Davis as an incredible woman who deserved to be on the list of 2013 Women of the Year. Only a month earlier, the organization promoted Kathleen Sebelius as a woman of courage on its Facebook page.
Davis is not known for much more than exaggerating her life story and for her filibuster of a pro-life bill in the Texas legislature. Her critics point out that the bill she filibustered was one that limited abortions after viability....

The Girl Scouts have long been run by liberals. They align with Planned Parenthood too. Why did this surprise anyone?
What did Subway do? I missed that one.

There is a supermarket near me which sells Famous Amos cookies at a reduced price. The first bag I bought had “not for sale outside Canada” in small print.
The last bag simply said “made in Battle Creek Michigan.”
They signed up with the First Mooch and her healthy eating campaign. Unhappy sammich eaters burned up their Facebook page.

Very little of that $4 goes to the girls or the cookie makers. Much more goes to the slaughter of unborn babies.
The boy scouts in a decade will be just like the girl scouts. They took a big sick step by letting fags in. Next fags will infiltrate leadership. Then religion won’t be required, and soon after religion and morals will be banned.
Yes, the Girl Scouts organization has been hard left for some time. This is the path the Boy Scouts have now embarked on as well.
Samoas are still on the list: http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_cookies/meet_the_cookies.asp
My Famous Amos cookies aren’t any better to me than the other large brands but I get a large 2 pound bag for $3.50.

Yep...I just had a mom walking her daughter around last Sat. trying to sell them at my home and I let her know that because of Girl Scout affiliation with Planned Parenthood I no longer would buy them. It took her off guard and she obviously did not follow politics but its now time to SPEAK OUT.
I buy them every year; but won’t from now on.
They’ll be in front of every Randall’s, soon.
That is the inevitable result after decades of unconditional and increasingly out of control public funding. For the Christian scouts thing to work, it was to be thoroughly dependent on private funding, no gov’t money of any kind. The members of the Girl and Boy Scouts that did not want to support leftist agendas wholesale at the hardest time fighting back because their organization was using too much public funding.
Davis was designated an outstanding woman, eligible to be on
the list of 2013 Women of the Year. BUT they’re not giving HER or her campaign money. They are, however, using cookie sales proceeds to pay GSA personnel to promote that agenda.
Only about twenty cents per box goes to the troop. I may just write a check for what I’d pay for cookies as a donation to a local church-sponsored troop. Don’t want the cookies.
GSA is a cynical marketing tool and distribution network that verges on slavery for insanely overpriced cookies. It never was about the girls. Everything they do is focused on cookie sales.
Yep, same here, my wife ordered 3 boxes, not aware of what has happened to the G.S. organization...........she knows now.
Me, too. I usually bring my lunch to work, but I had one of their subs today. Should I be getting my lunch somewhere else?
