I understand your point, but the Girls Scouts sell the overpriced cookies for raising funds, not because they’re a great value.
I love Girl Scout cookie time because most cookies on supermarket shelves are selling at the lowest price of the year. Time to stock up on Keebler.

One of my co-workers runs a girl scout troop. When she was selling cookies last year at the office, I declined to buy, told her why, and made a cash donation to her for use by her group. She was unaware of the pro-abort stance of the national organization.
We’ll see what happens this year.
Does anyone know if the GSA deleted some tweets from its account? I could swear they had a few other tweets - one about Wendy Davis being an “Incredible Woman” and I think I remember they did the same for Sebelius. Those I don’t remember being RTs.

I’m VERY surprised you don’t know about the penchant, particularly in the last 2 decades for GSA to be aligned with Planned Parenthoods goals. This topic has been covered in MANY places. they are just becoming more and more open about it, to the point where they don’t even try to hide it any more. Quite some time ago, GSA have stopped requiring the girls to have a belief in God or a higher power. The top of the organization and the councils have been infiltrated by VERY liberal women who control the contents of what is in the GSA manuals and so forth. Even back in the late 90s a friend of mine who had 2 daughters, who lead a troop said that after her youngest, then about 9 was done, she’d stop leading a troop. She mentioned she and other mothers who lead troops noticed that the councils and the head people were pushing VERY liberal agendas into the program. She said they basically ignored the “feminazi stuff.” There are many places in which “American Heritage girls” have been on the upswing. That organization promotes the family values that GSA *USED* to have, but unfortunately has not for some time. At the local level, I’m sure there are many troop leaders who ignore the rot, but it has become increasingly impossible to do so, if they really see what has been happening over time. There is this thing called “google” where if you go to “google.com” and type in “Girl Scouts”+”Planned Parenthood” you should be able to do your own homework. You will get an EYE FULL.
As far as “abortion Barbie” goes Wendy Davis has been called “Abortion Barbie” because of the liberal media’s obsession with Davis’ clothes and her ignorance of the Gosnell case. Presumably you know about the Gosnell case.

GSA admitted that they do “sex ed” for troops. GSA, frankly, has NO BUSINESS offering anything like that. Juliet Lowe would be rolling in her grave.
