Malkin: Lessons for Shove Guv Andrew Cuomo
Creators Syndicate ^ | January 22, 2014 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 01/21/2014 4:54:07 PM PST by jazusamo

Not so fast, Andrew Cuomo. We see what you did there. After publicly bashing conservative New Yorkers as "extreme" people who have no place in his state, the intolerant Democratic governor wants to blame the media for his unmistakable contempt for those who oppose abortion, support gun rights and defend traditional marriage.

Newsflash: Crapweasel politicians can backtrack and scapegoat, but they can't hide.

When he railed against socially conservative Republican candidates in a radio interview last week, Cuomo hyperbolically singled out those he called "right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay" citizens. Sounding unapologetically purge-tastic, the governor said these political opponents "have no place in the state of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are." His bigoted comments provoked a fierce social-media-driven backlash led by devout Catholics and Second Amendment activists in the Empire State. And now, he's got job-creating, tax-paying conservative business people threatening to leave. Heckuva job, Andy!

In a desperate damage control attempt, Cuomo issued a statement claiming that the New York Post "distorted" his words. It's always the messenger's fault. The Shove Guv also accused his critics of being "entirely reckless with facts and the truth." Really? There was no equivocation in Cuomo's political eviction wish. Whether he was talking about conservative candidates and/or the voters and donors who support them, you can't get any clearer than "have no place in the state of New York."

Translation: You don't belong. Pack your bags. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Scram.

I was planning on doing a Hall of Fame tour this summer (visiting the Pro Football, Rock and Roll, Baseball, and Basketball Hall of Fames, all during one week since they’re virtually all along the same stretch). Wondering if I should skip Cooperstown so I wouldn’t have to spend money in Cuomo’s kingdom.

This is how liberals think.

Remember during the Chick Fil A controversy, when mayors such as SF mayor Lee, and Chicago mayor Emmanuel, said Chick Fil A was not welcome in their cities?

This is the mindset of liberals. In their perfect world, you would be denied your business license unless you support liberal causes such as homosexual marriage.

And if liberals get too much power, they will attempt to drive Chick Fil A andHobby Lobby and other targeted companies out of business.

It would be great if all the conservatives moved out and took their jobs and businesses with them.

Let the libs support their utopian fantasy without the conservatives to mooch from.

I would say a solid majority of the voters, and an even greater proportion of the people in NY agree with Cuomo. I would also say that same solid majority is too stupid, greedy, or evil to understand why ignoring constitutional protections of the minority is perilous. It will be a long time, if ever, before conservatives will have any legal means of protecting their rights or redressing their greivances in NY. If it were me I would start making arrangements to get out before they come up with some sort of “exit tax.”

I’d bet this will hurt New York with tourism this Spring and Summer and many New Yorkers have to be really ticked.

We’ve been seeing a lot of “Move your business to New York and get ten tax free years” commercials lately. First off, they must be determining who comes in by extensive application. Then, who’d believe anything a commie administration claimed anyway?

I live 25 miles north of Cooperstown. It is a quaint little village in upstate NY, lots of things to see, Hall of Fame, small shops, great restaurants and fine beer. Don’t let the Governor scare you away. Upstate NY is not like down state.

You could go to the Basketball Hall of Fame third and then finish up with Cooperstown. On your way to Springfield, MA and Cooperstown you can take the shortest routes possible through NY and spend no money on gas/food/lodging/etc.

The only money you would spend in NY would be any entrance fee there might be to Cooperstown. And if you can somehow snag free tickets, then you could see it without spending any money and leaving only a bit of tire rubber on their hole-ier than thou roads.

This Malkin piece is just whining and "gotcha;" it needs to be sounding the alarm. Now it's just the prosecution of bakers who won't bake cakes for gay weddings, like "pinpricks against the kulaks." As the state seizes the economic reins, then it will be "replacing their output," and "time for serious blows." Cuomo is Stalin against the Kulaks and his speech is hate speech.

Joseph Stalin, Speech on Agrarian Policy Dec. 27, 1929

Was this policy correct? Yes, it was absolutely correct at the time. Could we have undertaken such an offensive against the kulaks some five years or three years ago? Could we then have counted on success in such an offensive? No, we could not. That would have been the most dangerous adventurism.

An offensive against the kulaks is a serious matter. It should not be confused with declamations against the kulaks. Nor should it be confused with a policy of pinpricks against the kulaks,

But today? What is the position now? Today, we have an adequate material base for us to strike at the kulaks, to break their resistance, to eliminate them as a class, and to replace their output by the output of the collective farms and state farms.

I heard the audio of it also and read a piece that his staff is trying to say he was misquoted and it was taken out of context.

That turkey Cuomo said what the Post wrote and his staff is lying big time.

I always find it fascinating when a politician says something asinine and pretends they didn’t say it, even with video or audio proof. It’s almost that after a while they have no concept of integrity, responsibility or reality of the situation.

Michelle Malkin does great job of ripping Cuomo.

Michelle Malkin and Judge Jeanine are in a class by themselves. I love watching both of them rip liberals a new one. I can hear the cutting sarcasm and disgust in the judge's every word. I despise rats as much or more than these two do.
