WASHINGTON Remember the new spirit of cooperation in Washington? Thats so last week.
The era of good feeling is over, its duration measured in days, or perhaps hours. Last Wednesday, 36 Senate Republicans 80 percent of the caucus voted against the budget compromise drafted by Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, last years Republican vice presidential nominee.
Already, Republicans, including Ryan, are making noises about another showdown early next year over the federal governments debt limit. You might say theyve returned to their default position.
By Thursday morning, Senate leaders were back to petty bickering. Harry Reid, the majority leader, called Republicans very shallow and said obstruction has become a bad habit of theirs.

Ryan is a total fraud.
If I had my way
If I had my way in this wicked world
If I had my way
I would tear this old building down
— Rev Gary Davis
There are days when I do wish they would pop each other.
Vegas, Harry Reid, DA Mob.
Next question.
Ryan and Rubio are peas in a pod... pretty boys who pretend to be conservative when they are really progressives.
Harry Reid, the majority leader, really is a mob-connected criminal so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the senate is like the mafia.
Anything run by Harry Reid would be expected to contain a “mafia culture”. He’s the head of the nuclear mafia.
He sure was catapulted to the top of the heap quick.. By an adoring media mass.
The Celebrity Corporate Socialists movement has spared no expense in creating the illusion that who and what you vote for is what you get.
Must be something in the air there in the DC tidal basin.
Something far too rich for most to breathe..
And makes others quivering masses of surrender.
Oh well. That’s politics these days.
“Already, Republicans, including Ryan, are making noises about another showdown early next year over the federal governments debt limit. “
BWAAAHAAHAAA!
Yeah. Showdown. Riiiiiiiiight. Unless your idea of a “showdown” is where one person says “my final offer is that we spend like a drunken whores and expand the national debt by $30 trillion” and the other person says “okay, but why don’t you make it 40?”
Dunno why people ever thought he was something else or portrayed him as being for less government. He is a Republican. That's what Republicans stand for.
Well, if only our guys were knocking off their guys, we’d have a little more faith in ‘em.
Unfortunately, Senate ‘Pubbies have pretty much got in bed with the Democrates. Lee and Cruz are outliers.
My recollection is that Congress gave authority over the debt limit to the president, and they need some sort of supermajority to override the inevitable increase. Republicans in Congress no longer have leverage.
Democrats are Michael Corleone, Republipussies are Fredo
He talks a good game. Too bad it’s all blarney.
Anyone, anyone that’s an EXEMPT ONE, is part of the Extortion-Care Protection Racket. Period.
“He is a Republican. That’s what Republicans stand for.”
Ain’t that the truth. It’s what their “good friends” in the ‘rat party stand for also.
We should have known what to expect of WI’s Ryan. He was too lenient on Biden in that “debate”. His wife is of a Democrat family in OK.

Corrupt big city RAT government/corrupt big city gov RATunions/RAT Mafia
Same at the federal level. It's all inextricably hooked together. It's all the same old thing.
