Sen. Joe Manchin warns that Obamacare could collapse “under its own weight” if there are continued problems, repeating his push for delaying the
“If it’s so much more expensive than what we anticipated and if the coverage is not as good as what we had, you’ve got a complete meltdown at that time,” the West Virginia Democrat said in an interview that aired Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “This transitional year gives you a chance to adjust the product for the market.”
Manchin is pushing legislation with Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) that would delay the individual mandate for another year.
“It falls under its own weight if the cost becomes more than we can absorb,” Manchin said.
No one wanted it.
No health care is actually delivered.
PSA and mammograms are decreased.
Cancer is no longer treated if early or late
(except for ANY staff or family or friend (paying)
of ANY EXEMPT Congressman).
Manchin plays both sides of the aisle. He is a DEM! Don’t ever forget that. He doesn’t really care if the majority of the people do NOT WANT Government healthcare.
For all intents and practical purposes, it HAS collapsed. The government lies daily about the numbers of people that have ‘enrolled’, dissembling what ‘enrolled’ vs. actually covered means in news conferences, yet publishes BS commercials with the all-present “I’m Covered” testament.
The truth is, no person with a bank account, savings or any real value to their lives would be signing up for this unless he/she has a pre-existing expensive condition, is pretty assured they will have completely offsetting subsidies, or they will get Medicaid.
In my opinion, anyone otherwise is gambling most seriously with the likely probability their identities, their money and their foreseeable futures will be stolen by Navigator-assisted felons.
More and more people are learning (finally) it is about the subjugation of most of us as slaves for the benefit of a few winners, those with the correct melatonin content.

And as I was telling a friend of mine who is in the health insurance industry yesterday, it will continue to do so, because in a country of 330 million, where even 90% of those in favor of Obama care do not intend on participating, you simply cannot make this happen….don't care how many laws you write, how many bad decisions come from the Supreme Court, don't care how many elections Dems win…..this has collapsed and will continue to collapse, or more to the point, it will continue to fail to launch. Not happenin…..just isn't.

(Receptionist) Congress passed it, the President signed it and the Supreme Court found it Constitutional.
(Customer) Whoa.....I don’t remember seeing anything in the Constitution regarding Flowers as a Right.
(Receptionist) It is not really a Right in the Constitution, but ObamaFlowers is Constitutional because the Supreme Court Ruled it a “Tax”. Taxes are Constitutional. But we feel it is a Right.
(Customer) I don’t believe this...
(Receptionist) It’s the law of the land sir. Now, we anticipated most people would go for the Silver Package, so what is you monthly income sir?
(Customer) Forget it, I think I will forgo the flowers this year.

With all due respect, Senator Manchin (which frankly isn't much), the failure points you cite have already happened. What we need to do next is predict how bad the failure will be, what will be the consequences, and how we will with them.
Both parties are like a fabulously rich couple who have let the help have the weekend off and now have discovered a dead rat on the kitchen floor. Neither of them wants to deal with it, or even admit that it's there, but it's starting to stink. They're tip toeing past it with their pinkie fingers in the air and clothes pins on their noses, hoping it will just go away on its own.

Yes, it has collapsed! The problem is that Obamacare broke the health care system that was in place prior before, and they are really clueless as to what to do now. Their recent changes to the mandates just represent flailing in water that's way over their heads.

I guess that’s why ol’ Joe’s first vote in the Senate after winning by campaigning against obamamcare was to vote to KEEP obamcare.
Wonder if Joe’ll vote to repeal obamacare the next time he gets the chance, or will he continue to mindlessly support obama. Personally, I’ll be betting on the “mindlessly” option.
