Isn’t he up for re election? Small wonder you hear this sort of middle ground crap coming from a Dem facing re election in a fairly conservative state.

Joe already grabbed the gun control third rail of politics and squeezed hard. It’s too early to tell what will happen in 2016. Here’s hoping for his early retirement by the voters. Many West Virginians think their ancestors will spin in their graves if they vote Republican. Add to that Democrats control a lot of the state and county jobs.
To their credit they dumped a long term House member who was on the appropriations committee and very skilled at bringing money to the state.
