Chris Plante at WMAL Radio in Washington reported on his show Tuesday that President Obama joined a cast of 61 "noted lawmakers, politicians, news anchors and celebrities, including every living President, in reciting the Gettysburg Address" for PBS star Ken Burns, who made "The Civil War" documentary series.
Everyone else delivered the address as Lincoln had written it, including the phrase, "that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom." But in his version of the address, President Obama omitted the words "under God."
What do you expect of a man who wears a ring featuring coiled snakes?
Angry but not overly surprised or unexpected for the Godless president.

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Actually Obama is viciously intolerant of all points of view different from his. Beware differing with Obama....

AMAZING! Same guy who refused to stand at attention for the American national anthym and same guy who made an obscene gesture when others were saluting the American flag and same guy who had the audacity to visit a Christian college and ask that the cross or crucifix be covered up, and same guy who can recite Koran from memory and same guy who says the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound on earth, and same guy whose first speech after election was not to America but he flew to Cairo and demanded that the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists be released from jail to hear him talk at the Muslim University there, and same guy who said “my Muslim faith” on national TV (commentator “corrected him”), and same guy who has tried so desperately to undermine Israel and same guy who send billions of American tax dollars to Muslim or Islamofascist terrorist gangs, and same guy who send advanced USA weapons to Islamofascist terrorist gangs, and same guy who...
but of course, his failure to intone “God” when reading from the Gettysburg Address was just a mistake. Had it read “Allah” he would have gladly read it out
He would really like to say “Under Allah” but doesn’t dare. So he leaves it out altogether so as not to offend his buddies in the middle eastern cult that hates our guts.
Well, there was the DC insurance commissioner who was tossed under the bus for questioning Obama's jerry-rigging of a fix last week.
Now is Obama’s turn to deny God, but some day he will bow before The Lord of Lords and King’s of King’s. It is our choice in this life just not our choice in the life to come.

Lincoln actually wrote it with and without “under God”. Two of the five existing manuscripts (Nicolay and Hay copies) written by Lincoln do not have it.

I fully expected Obama to read that as, "and that government of the government, by the government, for the government, shall not perish from the earth".
