I’d be willing to wager it’s mostly due to the “free” breakfasts handed out at schools.

Unless you have food stamps you get a bargain on the cereal. I buy the Weis brand it is much cheaper and taste the same.

Their hyper processed products are too expensive and full of sugar and additives. Yes, they are filling consumer demand but they have some kids hooked their all franken-foods . Adults too
Consumer choice is good and it seems like consumers are finding Kellogg substitutes

Cold cereal and orange juice. Two things I just never got. They both taste nasty.

Plus oatmeal is a whole lot healthier IMO. Absolutely. Boxed cereal like Kelloggs is highly processed with chemicals, extruded at high temperatures that wipe out any nutritional value in the original grains. My wife nixed breakfast cereals years ago, in favor of oatmeal and fresh fruit (berries of all kinds and bananas).

over processed carbohydrates that rot your teeth.
Frequent brushing and flossing helps prevent that......as do regular dental checkups.

This is good. Expand into other things, kelloggs. Breakfast cereals are killing us. Grains, most especially processed grains, give us diabetes and obesity.

We have an Aldi nearby but I haven’t been there - good prices?
To: John W
It was over when they started displaying “cost per flake” on the shelf.

My kids aren’t big fans of cold cereal. They prefer pancakes or eggs for breakfast, sometimes oatmeal. Sometimes they’ll just have a sandwich, or a graham cracker or apple with peanut butter. For the cost, there are a lot better options.

You should try them separate.

A box of oatmeal is still a pretty good deal.
