I am sick and tired of ignorant idiots attacking our products screaming the ozone hole, global warming, nutrition, etc.

You are not an expert in any way about food. If we all followed the advice of morons like you we’d all be eating rocks and weeds. The world is doing just fine with our foods and all your ignorant babble about junk science is just that, junk science, same as with the ozone hole, global warming, and everything else you idiots that have no clue what you are reading claim is going to kill us all.

I am a scientist. You are a gullible idiot that has no clue what you are reading. You read tidbits of junk science and then think you have the entire story.

Nothing more dangerous than an idiot where a little bit of information is dangerous.

You couldn’t identify an amino acid if it bit you in the ass.

Investments in advertising not returning what it used to?

Maybe kids are too sophisticated (jaded) today to fall for the cereal companies B.S. like we did.

I will NEVER eat it again!”

That’s tooooo funny. My mom made it too but she always put cut-up dates in it. We also had to have a bowl of cooked rhubarb or prunes with it. Didn’t like dates, rhubarb or prunes then and still don’t but I was able to start eating oatmeal again with lots of brown sugar and raisins.

I always fixed my kids Cream of Wheat or Malt-O-Meal and they fix their kids Cream of Wheat now.

Never did instant anything. Too expensive and it doesn’t take that long to cook oatmeal in the microwave. My kids always loved Grape Nuts and the big shredded wheat - which they called straw bales - but it’s hard to find at our local stores now.

Unlike most people here, I like cold cereal. I also don’t think it’s expensive. Every week some store has it on sale for a really good price and there are always coupons. Oatmeal makes me sick but I do like cream of wheat with brown sugar.

agree GeronL

Oatmeal is so much better for you...and you can switch it up with different toppings: granola, bananas, brown sugar, berries, dried cranberries, flaxseed.
Yummy~especially with Half and Half.

When I buy a whole box of dried cereal, I end up throwing half of it away..

the generic stuff in the bags tastes the same

Nonsense.

Frosted Flakes have a very unique flavor and consistency and are without question the best. But, that alone is not enough of a distinction to justify the price difference between Malt-o-meal and the stuff at Aldi and don't generally buy Kellogg's stuff since they went full homo.

Oh, that’s good. Yeah, the microwave makes it so easy. And now we are entering the best oatmeal porridge weather, huh?

I love cold cereal but I have a problem. I can’t stop eating it and once I start usually eat three full bowls. This leads to heavy weight gain from the milk so I have to avoid cold cereal. Sigh. I could really go for some captain crunch right now.

I am a scientist.

And a poorly informed libtard one at that. You probably squeaked by with a C- average, just like the "scientists" that proclaim global warming is going to destroy the planet. Too many of your ilk without common sense who won't do proper reasoning and look at actual facts, and then proclaim their science is "true". Fresh food is better than highly processed food. You probably think high fructose sweeteners are better than natural sugars, you probably drank too much kool-aid with it. You "scientists" once believed the Sun re olved around the Earth (maybe you still do). And you are so deluded you believe your own lies, just like an Obamabot.

A number of foods are cooked at high temp to no defect.

Defect? I don't think so!
