Central African anarchy risks becoming 'genocide': UN

UNITED NATIONS (United States) (AFP) - A top UN official warned Friday that anarchy in Central African Republic risks becoming "genocide" as armed Christian and Muslim groups battle each other.

The giant but impoverished nation has slid into lawlessness since rebels overthrew President Francois Bozize in March. France has called for a UN peacekeeping force to be deployed and is increasing its own military presence there.

...

"We are seeing armed groups killing people under the guise of their religion and my feeling is that this will end with Christian communities, Muslim communities killing each other," Dieng told reporters after an informal UN Security Council meeting on the crisis.

"If we don't act now and decisively I will not exclude the possibility of a genocide occuring in Central African Republic," he added.

"African forces will not be sufficient," Dieng said. "The country has been totally destroyed. There is total chaos.

...

Araud said a UN force of between 8,000 and 10,000 troops may be needed but the African force must be given a chance to re-establish order.

Rwanda's UN ambassador, Eugene Richard Gasana, said his country backs sending a UN force and that descriptions of the events reminded him of Rwanda's genocide.

"I had the impression it is like in 1994 at home," Gasana told reporters.

Remember 'Hotel Rwanda'? Yeah, it's like that. The self appointed president is a Muslim trained in the USSR. Muslims only make up 15% of the population of Central African Republic. France has about 500 troops in the country protecting their interests. The US had 100 special forces helping hunt down the Lord's Resistance Army in CAR at the time the rebels took the capitol. The Pentagon has been very, very mum about them since.

If the UN is becoming concerned, it means they're worried the Muslims might lose.

This guy Dieng is either clueless about Islam or else he's an agent of disinformation.

ery telling that the UN should make him "United Nations Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide".

The Muslims are already slaughtering Christians, it'll be a disaster if the Christians fight back, that cannot be allowed.

That is their worry, that Christians might start fighting back.

Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt’s military — even as Cairo’s security forces massacre anti-government activists.

[by “anti-government activists” is meant church-burning jihadists]

The complete rounding up and annihilation of the muzzies in the CAR would make this a worthwhile operation. Otherwise, nope, forget it -- and accept no refugees. IOW, unless the Christians (and indigenous religions) get their kaka together and start to effectively A) defend themselves and B) segregate, marginalize, and imprison the muzzie minority, they deserve what they'll get.

In part, I agree with you.

But, on the otherhand...

As soon as anyone in that (or any other) AO starts mounting an effective defense against the jihadiscum, the evil sacks of subhumanity that run the UN will declare them the aggressors and mount operations against them.

Also, it’s never just the muslim minority. Jihadiscum from all over the muslim world flood designated zones to work islam’s mandated mass rape, murder and torture. Everywhere the mullahs decide needs to be washed in blood, every inbred psychopath in the islamo world gets sent.

Fighting back in only the current “hot spots” makes less sense than fighting an endemic infection with small dabs of anti-bacterial ointment.
