It’s a good thing that “elections have consequences”, BOTH ways! The good people of Texas sent Cruz to the Senate, ‘nuf said.

They’re the only ones with any adherence to the Constitution.

“After two months in Washington, it’s great to be back in America,” Cruz joked

Funny thing, I was watching Fox News Sunday today, and all the pundits who were saying how stupid Cruz’ strategy was, now say that “surprisingly” it turned out to have benefits, because the Pubs are now “shaping the debate”.
How unexpected.

Apparently Jebbie and George P. are fighting over Cruz. George P., a candidate for land commissioner, is wanting to say nice things about Cruz, but his dad is furious, considers Cruz a menace to the kind of GOP Jebbie wants. And imagine some on our forum once though Jebbie was a “real conservative”.

Jeb makes me want to barf.
I’m guessing the Castro brothers and their La Raza supporting mom weren’t in the San Antonio ballroom with Ted Cruz.

Texas Federation of Republican Women. But, but, but Ted Cruz has been accused of being against women by the SRM.

Obama never got an 8 minute ovationHeck, they were too busy fainting and others had to let medical personnel to the scene.

Just remember back when Cruz was running for this office...
If Dewhurst had won, would we be having this conversation???
I hope everyone remembers that Cornyn weasel’d his way into the “nay” vote crowd, and some may look upon that as a saving grace fo rhis “effort”...
I’m calling bullsh!t on that...Cornyn played it safe, can say whatever he wants to in the next election cycle...He is dead to me as a principled republican elected official...
Time to show his ass the door...
I really hope we get to call Ted Cruz the “senior’ Senator from Texas next year...I’ll do my part...

"8 minute standing ovation..." Now that's what I call some serious love. I don't recall another politician ever receiving a standing ovation that long.
Ted, the country's behind you every step of the way. Bravo!

That guy will get a visit from the EPA soon, saying all those cups are a health hazard to wildlife and the local community, along with an audit by the IRS.
