KUHNER: The Tea Party’s coming vindication
Washington Times ^ | 10/18/13 | Jeffrey T. Kuhner

Posted on 10/18/2013 2:52:04 AM PDT by rhema

The debt deal simply hastens the day of reckoning

The conventional wisdom is wrong. The mainstream media — and their parrots in the Republican establishment — are claiming that President Obama decisively won the government shutdown battle. In fact, the narrative being peddled is that the GOP brand has been badly damaged, paving the way for a possible Democratic Party takeover of the House of Representatives in the 2014 elections. This is puerile nonsense. Tea Party Republicans, led by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, may have lost the battle, but they are poised for a major victory in the larger Obamacare war.

Liberal pundits and Republican moderates, such as Sen. John McCain of Arizona, are blaming one person for the partial government shutdown: Mr. Cruz. They argue that for all their attempts to defund or delay Obamacare, Mr. Cruz and his conservative allies accomplished nothing. The final deal reopens the federal government until Jan. 15 and lifts the debt ceiling into early February. In exchange, no significant reforms or revisions were made to Mr. Obama’s signature health law. As for the repeal of the medical devices tax, a one-year delay in the individual mandate and an end to the exemption given to Congress and its staff, none of these proposals were accepted by the Democrats. Hence, the political and media class are convinced Mr. Cruz’s obstructionist tactics backfired, fostering the public perception that “right-wing extremists” have hijacked the GOP. Mr. Obama now openly refers to the Tea Party as a “dangerous faction.”

This is myth and propaganda masquerading as analysis.

McCain is an extremist progressive DEMOCRAT. If he was a man (which he isn’t), he would be honest and switch parties. The flames of hell beckon, and he continues on his corrupt path. You still have time to repent, John.

One day the other half of The People will wake up and realize that the Tea Party was right after all their rights have been stripped and they see that their government was replaced by enemy tyrant traitors of foreign nationality who manipulated them using the fairness doctrine, PC, taking over the schools and the MSM using incrementalism one small step at a time intil they could place the perfect candidate that was groomed to accelerate the process. They will realize the Tea Party stood for them and all other Americans and that they were lied to about them. We are not the anarchists. You will find them in Congress and the WH.

From the article: “ - - but they are poised for a major victory in the larger obamacare war.”

It’s only common sense! The majority of people did not want obamacare to begin with. The average libtard on the street that did, now that it’s been read to them, does not want it. Once they start getting hit with those fines for not having insurance, with the IRS taking it directly out of their accounts, they will all be taking to the streets. The RINO show votes of the past will be meaningless and hopefully the Tea Party will take over the sorry-assed Republican party.

In a way losing the last battle was a good thing, it lets all of us know for sure what the GOP leadership is all about.

Regarding McShame, I agree, calling him an A-Hole is an insult to the real ones. He’s a media whore leftist progressive jerkwad third column type traitor, and proud of it.

If the Democrats take back the House would that be so bad?

The house Republicans are voting with the Democrats anyway.

"Mr. Obama now openly refers to the Tea Party as a “dangerous faction.”

So, if you believe in less government spending the current administration considers you an enemy of the state. Dangerous times my friends. Now we know how the Jews felt in 1936 Germany.

Ping. Let me know if you want to be added to / removed from BeatLamar! Ping list. Please ping me to threads of interest - winning the Senate in 2014.

Personally, the Republican cave in did not dispirit me as much as the election of BHO. The latter filled me with a sense of impending doom, hopelessness and powerlessness.

The former motivates and energizes me.

The line is drawn, between the Republicans and the republicans (per the dictionary and historical senses of the word).

On this Saturday, October 19, Tennessee can begin being a genuine part of the solution.

If you are in Tennessee or one of the many states that border us, y'all come. If you know people in Tennessee, make them aware.

Finally, here is a list of the surrender caucus that onyx posted. Check it out.

Is this a serious question; or to you get a kick out of channeling Tokyo Rose and being a tool?

The summary...

"The United States is a giant bus that is rushing toward an economic precipice. A few more years of Mr. Obama’s borrow-and-spend policies and America will crash upon the rocks of fiscal reality and national insolvency. The Democrats/Socialists are keeping their foot on the gas pedal, full speed ahead. The Republican establishment (GOPE) thinks we may need to slow down — at least a little. The bus, however, will still go off the cliff. Only the Tea Party is saying — in fact, yelling — to hit the brakes. They’re right, and they will be vindicated. The only question is this: Will Americans wake up before it’s too late?"

If the Republican’s had ANY brains they would be rejoicing right now, but they are too stupid to take advantage of the remarkable campaign material that has just been dumped into their laps.. Pics of vets being forced away from their monuments, illegals free to protest, death benefits. The whole Obamacare debacle. But the sad truth is.. The Republicans are no longer the opposition, they are one with the progressive Dems. It is time for a new party. One party government is a very dangerous thing

.

Liberal Media Pundits (you know them, the "smartest guys in the room", LOL)...

writing that the Government Shutdown was a disaster for the Republicans and Tea Party are spewing pure "Stalinist Propaganda" ...

Why ?

"ObamaCare" (in all its glory) was the TARGET for the Tea Party ...

The ENTIRE U.S. voting public knows this ... Libertarians and Liberals and Moderates alike.

Now ... just wait another ten (10) months when there is an AVALANCH of opposition against ObamaCare ...

where struggling families are TOLD to pay an extra $ 8,000 to $ 10,000 MORE annually for health insurance ...

Health Insurance with a $ 5,000 DEDUCTIBLE.

"Who" will these pissed-off and BROKE voters turn to ?

Barry the Sodomite Muslim and the MSM ?

Hardly.

They will turn to ANYONE who wants to abolish the "disaster" called ObamaCare.

That's the Tea Party and Ted Cruz.

We win.

Period.

IMO, Obama and the Dems successfully defended status quo, but they won a losing hand. I for one am glad the individual mandate was not delayed. Obamacare is going down by the bow. The January/February timeframe may me enough time for reality and the public backlash to set in and drown out all the Democrat and MSM propaganda.

If things go the way I believe they will go, I wouldn’t want to be a Democrat next fall.
