Funding Jihadists while Denying Military Benefits
National Review Online ^ | 10-12-13 | Andrew C. McCarthy

Posted on 10/12/2013 6:36:36 AM PDT by sheikdetailfeather

Here is where we’re at: The Republican establishment — the guys who told us that for a trillion dollars and several thousand American casualties, we could build “Islamic democracies” that would be reliable U.S. allies in the War on Terror — say it is Ted Cruz who is “delusional” and the effort to stave off Obamacare that is “unattainable.”

These self-appointed sages are, of course, the same guys who told us the way to “stabilize” and “democratize” Libya was to help jihadists topple and kill the resident dictator — who, at the time, was a U.S. ally, providing intelligence about the jihadists using his eastern badlands as a springboard for the anti-American terror insurgency in Iraq. That’s probably worth remembering this week, during which some of our new “allies” abducted Libya’s president while others car-bombed Sweden’s consulate in Benghazi — site of the still unavenged terrorist massacre of American ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other U.S. officials 13 months ago.

Ted Cruz right now is what is standing between us and the BS the RINO’s have been putting out. They hate him because they cannot bend him to their will.

We are not allowed to criticize an old pedophile. That covers it all: the disease-ridden sexual path this nation has taken, how we allow our unborn to be cut into small pieces, and how discrimination is legislated against Christians and Jews.

Stop the pussyfooting, NRO----say what needs to be said.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID It was the conniving neocons who duped the Bush WH into invading Iraq without provocation. Bush was coached by the pukes to announce the unprovoked Iraq strike would cost just $50-60 billion tax dollars......

INCONVENIENT FACTOID Bush then fired Larry Lindsey because Lindsey dared to say the war might cost more like $100 billion. That was in 2007 dollars.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY American taxpayers have poured trillions into putrid Mideast hellholes....and rivers of young blood have flowed onto their decrepit soil.

The conniving pukes had no compounction spending Us tax dollars----they knew our tax dollars meant huge war profiteering exclusively for them. How much did they pocket? The WSJ reported Neopuke Richard Perle is starting his own oil company in Iraq---while the US left Iraq without a barrel of oil to our names.

And where are the “Islamic democracies” and reliable US allies in the War on Terror the pukes promised?

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

The pukeneos lied, connived and extorted---they told us the way to “stabilize” and “democratize” was to help America-hating jihadists topple and kill the resident dictators — many of whom were U.S. allies providing crucial intelligence about the fervent jihadists planning anti-American terror insurgencies.

LAUGH BREAK Our new puked-up “allies” abducted Libya’s president while others car-bombed Sweden’s consulate in Benghazi — site of the still unavenged terrorist massacre of American Stevens and three other U.S. officials 13 months ago while Obama and Hillary had a love fest on 60 Minutes.

===========================================================

HERE WE GO AGAIN The stupids in the Obama WH said "said" they had budgeted $50 billion PER DAY for the Syrian incursion. But thanks to their utter stupidity---the Syria incursion fell apart. Important to note that Syria was always on the supersecret puke list of invasions. More below.

THIS JUST IN The "brilliant" Obama is cutting off aid to Egypt (goes to the military). We clearly see the ambitious Hillary's hand in the Egyptian aid cutoff.

Why?

B/c Egyptian military Gen al-Sisi just arrested the Clintons' Muslim Brotherhood employee for inciting Mideast terror.

Yikes.

REFERENCE A Muslim Brotherhood activist on US soil---who was an employee of one of three tax-exempt Clinton Foundations--astonishingly--was working for the Clintons, and simultaneously conducting Mideast terror activities. Also raises huge questions about the Clintons' three tax-exempt foundations laundering money for terror activities. Tax-exempt foundations are known havens for money laundering and tax evasion.

Gehad (means jihad) el-Haddad served as one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top communications officials; he was a top Muslim Brotherhood official and adviser to Obama's hand-picked Egyptian candidate, Morsi; el-Haddad served for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton. El-Haddad pushed the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in the foreign press, where he was often quoted defending the Brotherhood’s crackdown on civil liberties in Egypt. He became the public face of the Islamist organization soon after leaving his post at the Clinton Foundation; much of his official work with the Brotherhood took place while he was still claiming to be employed by the Clinton Foundation.

==================================================

The more cynical among us might wonder if the Clintons' Foundations were money laundering for the Muslim Brotherhood.

NY POST EXCERPT ----The Bill Clinton Foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses — Bill Clinton’s foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses since 2003, an analysis of the nonprofit’s tax forms reveal.....includes $4.2 million in 2011 for the William J. Clinton Foundation (to which Hillary and Chelsea are attached); $730,000 for the Clinton Global Health Initiative; and $7.2 million for the Clinton Health Action Initiative (CHAI).

================================================

A key Muslim goal is the destruction of Western Civilization.....and Christianity. The tip-off occurred when Egyptian General al-Sisi refused to take vacaying Obaba's call from MV. It affirmed Gen al-Sisi's determination not to let Obaba interfere with his plan to drive the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics. Superpowers Russia and China both backed al-Sisi and the Saudis jet-streamed al-Sisi millions to finish the job.

The Egyptian military has vowed to rebuild the 63 churches torched by the marauding Egyptian Muslims. Al Sisi's got the lay of the land---he knows who's got the ear of our Muslim president.

=============================================

Stupid Obomb-no doesn't have a clue. Gen al-Sisi's unrelenting defense of Christians has turned the world upside down. Gen al-Sisi is igniting worldwide disapproval of the MB---world leaders are vocally defending Christians. (1) Russian Pres Putin vocally decried Christian slaughter by Muzzies. China also backed al-Sisi. (3) The Saudis jet-streamed millions to al-Sisi to continue the Muslim disemboweling.

===========================================

THE SYRIAN/EGYPTIAN CONNECTION Syrian rebels---who are Sunni Muslim jihadists---attacked the Syrian Christian village of Maaloula; one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the East was also being sabotaged. BBC NEWS later reported that Assad ordered the Syrian Army to take back the Christian town from Islamist rebels.

============================================

That twit Obama is on the wrong side again ....ordering the CIA to arm Syrian Muzzie rebels so they can kill more Christians.

====================================================

REFERENCE At the Hay Literary festival in Wales, author and PBS historian, Niall Ferguson, spent much of his time dissing Obama's "smart power" speech delivered in Cairo in 2009......describing it as "touchy feely nonsense"...

Ferguson has sent out warnings about Obama's failure to come to terms with what Ferguson sees as the potential rise of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and the possible "restoration of the caliphate and the strict application of Sharia"........themes at the heart of this new book "Civilization: The West and the Rest"...............

Ferguson's standpoint is that Western dominance has been a progressive civilizing force.....his new book reinforces these arguments postulating that there were six killer "apps" which propelled the West to a position of predominance.

These were competition, science, property, modern science, consumption and work ethic, each with a dedicated chapter in the book.

Ferguson contrasts how China was the world's most advanced civilization in the 15th century but stagnated and was overtaken by Dutch mercantilism and the rise of capitalism employing the six "skills".

In his books, and on his compelling PBS series "Civilization," Ferguson lists "morality" as a strategic strength of Western Civilization. He points out the successful Chinese business city Wenzou also has 1,400 churches.

==============================================

NOTE Not coincidentally, it was China that joined Russia in decrying The Muslim Brotherhood's attack on Egyptian Christian's churches, homes and businesses.

Here's the passage at issue:
In the 1980s, the war caucus in Congress armed bin Laden and the mujaheddin in their fight with the Soviet Union. In fact, it was the official position of the State Department to support radical jihad against the Soviets. We all know how well that worked out.
Let's leave aside for now the insulting, utterly asinine, sickening, inexcusable use of the phrase "war caucus" to describe those (including Reagan!) who supported the mujaheddin against the Soviets. That word choice alone is almost entirely disqualifying for its purveyor to ever be president.

Instead, let's just look at a little history here -- because the ignorance evident in this paragraph is truly astonishing. One would be hard pressed to find even a single historian, whether right, left, or center, who would argue anything other than that the Soviet failure in Afghanistan was not just a huge factor, but probably an essential one, in the Soviets' ultimate loss of the Cold War.

Rand Paul’s immigration speech

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]

Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt’s military — even as Cairo’s security forces massacre anti-government activists.

[by “anti-government activists” is meant church-burning jihadists]

Great post, sheik.

Andrew McCarthy (who wrote the essay), Mark Steyn, and Mark Krikorian (immigration expert) are about the only people left at “National Review Online” who are worth reading.

Byron York moved to the Washington Examiner and John Derbyshire got fired.
