Obama Goes to War

President Obama likes to invoke his predecessors in the Oval Office, as all Presidents do, but in one sense he is unlike the others: Presidents traditionally try to reach a rough domestic consensus if they are faced with going to war abroad. Mr. Obama wants to smooth everything over abroad so he can get back to his favorite pursuit of declaring war at home.

At least that's how it's gone the last week, as Mr. Obama all but wrapped up that ghastly business in Syria and turned his attention to the real enemy—Republicans. Backed by the good offices of Vladimir Putin and the assurances of Bashar Assad, United Nations inspectors will now remove Syria's chemical weapons from the battlefield. Congress doesn't even have to vote on it, and the American people can forget the recent unpleasantness. Peace in our time.

For the life of me, I can't begin to fathom anything about the nature of this beast. He's shown himself to be abjectly clueless, emotionally, mentally detached from the rest of the us, from himself, as well. Observing what he says, how he acts, again and again I come around to the same conclusion that among all that he lacks, getting beyond not even being able to point to a single social redeeming value to call his own, it's just that the man is just plainly and simply dumb, dumb, d-u-m-b, dumb in the real and literal sense of the word not just merely some expression of derision. He's like jetsam and flotsam, remnants of some sea disaster going with the effluent flow, just floating along the political ocean current, rudderless, no beliefs, no philosophy, no star to guide him, not even aware that a star could possibly guide him, just finding himself wherever he is, ends up, on the whims and vagaries of the pelagic ebb and flow.

It was only last week, where the ocean maelstrom carried him out with no effort or urge off the treacherous waters of the Mediterranean Sea, ending up where he prefers the most to be, in the dead of the Doldrums for a set, hot, humid not a cloud in the sky, not the slightest sort of breeze, wind on his back. And then as quickly as you can utter the word "Hope", the Putin headwinds began churning, having him grab some southwesterly gust on into the waters off of the Carolinas, back again, with the same old, clueless vapid refrain.

The Republicans, blah, blah, blah...
We must increase the debt ceiling, blah, blah, blah, or end up with the Republicans causing disaster, blah, blah, blah,
We must protect our children from the scourge of guns, guns,guns, GUNS, blah, blah, blah,......
If only the Republicans would stop wanting to kill our children, blah, blah, blah, blah.....
And by the way, don't forget how exceptional we are. Oh. Actually, when I mentioned how exceptional we are, I misspoke. What I really meant was how exceptional I am. blah, blah, blah........

Thinking about O-Dumbo, of how really, truly, absolutely dumb he really is, I keep on thinking about the book that came out in the 80's, "Why Bad Things Happen To Good People", and then I kind of, I think, feel, well, not better, but different.

Just another day for some really dumb, dumb guy.

He’s beyond dumb: he’s stupid, the result of equal parts of ignorance and arrogance. And he’s not just stupid, he is dangerously, recklessly stupid. And he surrounds himself with people that are as dangerously and recklessly stupid as he is.

It’s not enough just to measure his stupidity against that of a common criminal. We need a new metric for measuring Obama’s stupidity. Just as the earth’s age is measured in geologic time, Obama’s stupidity needs to be measured on a cosmic scale: he is “galactically stupid.” His ignorance and arrogance no know bounds, at least not earthly ones.

Look at all the damage he’s done in 5 years. BOHICA, folks: we still have 3 more years of this galactically stupid moron “leading” us.

A book for you to read if you get the chance: “Rules for Radicals” by saul alinsky. Be sure you read who the book is dedicated to at the very beginning. It’ll help you to understand.

The manner in the way he handled the Syrian situation, was not the mark of a shrewd, sharp operator. He was out-played, out-hustled, out-smarted. If you're inept and unqualified (which he most certainly is on both counts) you've going to find stupid somewhere in there as part of the problem, no matter what book you read or whatever.

To stop the change, Obama must be stopped.

To have America, Americans must not have Obama
