Bikers Chime in (an invitation, not a statement)

Those of us that couldn't be with you yesterday followed, as best we could, your journey ...

.. but were greatly disappointed with the lack of coverage. We expected the media to not report you, but it was surprising no traffic cams caught you. Either your route bypassed active cams (intentional .. accidental ?) , or the ones that could have been active ... weren't.

Thats MY concern today.

YOU guys were there.

Tell us your experiences and if you have clips .. post them.

Thanx ... for yesterday ... and your service in the past.

Had a great time yesterday, rode in from Southern Maryland with a couple hundred bikes to Ft Washington Harley. An estimated at 10,000 bikes left of there at 11:00 and did a run around the 495 Beltway that tied up traffic and from what I’m hearing stretched about 3/4 the way around it. After that run a lot of the those riders drove into DC.DC was the usual traffic nightmare X10.

Folks were energized to say the least. Bikes cam in from all over the states. Great day, great ride.

Thanks for you contributions. As someone said yesterday: “we are no longer alone!”
Next year am hoping they’ll add pickup trucks. ... Total traffic jam. For that I’d buy a new used truck!

We could probably get duck dynasty to promote it All the young ones would show up then. ;-)

I was there in spirit with you all. This wasn’t just a ride of thousands to remember the fallen of 9/11...this was a show of force to those elitest in DC and elsewhere that we are tired of your crap. A beautiful thing. :-)
