Al-Qaeda Vows to Slaughter Christians After U.S. ‘Liberates’ Syria

Posted By Raymond Ibrahim On September 5, 2013 @ 12:36 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage | 13 Comments

While U.S. leaders continue pushing for war against the Syrian government, today “Al-Qaeda-linked rebels,”reports AP, “launched an assault on a regime-held Christian mountain village in the densely populated west of Syria and new clashes erupted near the capital, Damascus, on Wednesday…  In the attack on the village of Maaloula, rebels commandeered a mountaintop hotel and nearby caves and shelled the community below, said a nun, speaking by phone from a convent in the village. She spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.”

Arabic news agency Al Hadath gives more information concerning this latest terror attack on Syria’s Christians, specifically how the al-Qaeda linked rebels “terrorized the Christians, threatening to be avenged on them after the triumph of the revolution.”

Thus al-Qaeda terrorists eagerly await U.S. assistance against the Syrian government, so they can subjugate if not slaughter Syria’s Christians, secularists, and non-Muslims — even as the Obama administration tries to justify war on Syria by absurdly evoking the “human rights” of Syrians on the one hand, and lying about al-Qaeda’s presence in Syria on the other.

Gee, it’s not hard to figure out why Obama is for the rebels, is it?

“-—anonymity for fear of reprisals-—” Somebody want to tell that nun that getting herself shot at already is right up there with “reprisals.” These stories get so bleeping hard to believe or assign any kind of credibility because “nobody” reports them. And how is it that a band of Christians can’t arm themselves and defend their ‘hoods as well as anyone else? Same thing in Egypt. They all seem to think they can dial 911 and turn the problem over to US, US. And BTW-—where is Pope Frankie and why didn’t the nun call him? He could send in a band of combat ready pedophiles and then we could watch onehelluvafight.

There is so much BS flying thru the air out of the ME that you must be really careful what you try to believe. I still say arm everybody and let them fight it out. If everyone has a pistol I guarantee the society will instantly become polite.

Non al Qaeda Sunni Arab moderates have stated that their objective is to exterminate the Alawites:
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/05/world/middleeast/brutality-of-syrian-rebels-pose-dilemma-in-west.html

But, they said, one of his tactics has been to promise to his fighters what he calls “the extermination” of Alawites — the minority Islamic sect to which the Assad family belongs, and which Mr. Issa blames for Syria’s suffering.

And yet Israel wants us to get involved. Knowing what happened to Christian communities in Iraq after they engineered our involvement there. Why?

If you are outnumbered 10-1, you don’t just pick up arms and successfully defend yourself. The pope opposed our adventure into Iraq because he knew, as our “Christian” President did not, that radical Islam would punish the ancient Christian communities for whatever the “crusaders.” did in Iraq. And they did. And frankly< i don’t think our “Christian” government gave a damn. My son had a Christian who served as translator in Bagdad and for helping us, he got his throat slit. Now Christ communities that have been the the Middle East since the time of Christ are being driven out and unfeeling people like you shrug their shoulders and put your trust in THIS other cynical bastard in the White House.

“And yet Israel wants us to get involved. Knowing what happened to Christian communities in Iraq after they engineered our involvement there. Why?”

I’m surmising because they believe the US exercising and extending its sphere of influence over Syria is preferable to Russia. This presumes the US could control the inevitable Jihadist influences in Syria which is an impossibility.

That’s OK. Our fearless leader hates Christians, so it’s allright. Go ahead.

They’re already murdering Christians and fearless leader doesn’t give a rat’s rear sphincter.

Great. No surprise, though. Seems like the OHS should raise the threat level now, since dear leader fully intends to promote his legacy of peace (sarc) regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Yeah it would be soooo much better with the crazed Sunni madrassah trained exporters of terror taking over the reins.

Assads family has left the Christians alone, something especially that the Iranian shiites have not done—anywhere.
So this is a islamic sect civil war with Christians the useful tool targets. Arm the Christians obamaumao— oh no— you couldn’t because your “muslim faith” (your words) won’t allow that.

But, uh, Petraeus would have... hence girlfriend exposure and removal by .... Leon Panetta clintoon pimp replaced by Sarge Hagel (rino rubber stamp moron). This is all engineered by profiteering... NOT national security.

Alawites aren't really Shiites, although Hafez Assad (Assad's dad) did pay get some big name Shiite mullah to say they were. Alawites say there is no god but Ali. They believe in reincarnation. Their saints include Plato, Aristotle and the Virgin Mary. All of these are major breaches of Islamic doctrine. If a "Christian" sect named Buddha as a saint, subscribed to reincarnation and suggested that God is really John the Baptist, can that sect really be considered Christian? Frankly, the main reason for Assad's relationship with Iran has to do with needing money to stay afloat. Alawism seems more like a New Age philosophy than a religion.
