From what I understand, this nation has been fighting against terrorism since September 11, 2001.
In fact, it was described as a "War on Terrorism" in the days of President George W. Bush.
The men around Bush like Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld, Dan Senor and others spoke of fighting against Al Quaeda.
But now those gentlemen and other members of the GOP elite like former RINO Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Senator John McCain, Speaker of the House John Boehner and the list goes on want us to help the "rebels" in Syria's civil war that include terrorists like Al Quaeda.
I hear other GOP voices in the column for military action on the side of the terrorists including Speaker John Boehner, Lindsey Graham, Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee, Congressman Peter King and Senator Pat Toomey from Pennsvlvania (my senator).
Its sad enough to hear the GOP is fraudulent in opposing Obamacare, higher taxes, bigger government and so on, but heck now I realize they aren't even telling us the truth about their committment to fight terrorists in general and Al Quaeda in particular.
Obama, Kerry, Pelosi and Reid are on the wrong side of this but the GOP is in large part too?????

Some 60 to 80 GOP House members (the ones who also voted Boehner as their leader earlier this year) continue to put on their conservative act and record NO votes on issues to look good back home but I am more convinced than ever most of these people are hustling us and if the RINO's (90 percent plus of incumbents) can't be replaced in primaries, then there has to be a third choice in the general election.
Frankly there’s little point in even talking about this as long as we ignore the Norquist problem.

The Arab oil forces are at work out there I guess since the Saudis and Qatar (home of Al-Jazeera) want to go in and take out Assad.

Now that I see Karl Rove in the interventionist camp signing a letter backing it, I guess Bush 43 was in the pockets of the Arab oilmen.

My answer as to why anyone would vote Republican is, presently, to oppose the worst of the worst - Democrats.
The affirmative, positive reason to vote Republican is GONE, with the exception of a few individuals.
The third option? Do it to FEEL better, but expecting to beat the Democrats with it? No.
The Republican party has no hope unless it can be returned to what Reagan believed, and can keep its current base and attract traditional Democrats plus a huge swath of independents.
One of the biggest reasons Mark Levin gives for writing his “The Liberty Amendments” is because the Republican party leadership has destroyed the party as our vehicle against the Democrats, and because third parties or even A third party is not a winning strategy, either, in his view.
He was looking for a go-around such as the Constitution provides.
It just seems to me that we’re fated to suffer under this islamist driven governance forever simply because we point fingers at the other side but refuse to acknowledge our own guilt.
Its no different than when Nancy Pelosi said she was going to drain the swamp. We all knew it meant that she was going after republicans and ignoring democrat corruption.
If we want better, we should deserve better.
I’m not very optimistic about such a strategy, I almost consider it a diversion from facing reality.
In PA our legislative Republicans voted to give themselves 1 to 34 percent pay hikes in 2005 leading to calls for a constitutional convention and after all the noise, nothing happened.
Rove says he hopes Obama can sell it to Congress and has signed a letter supporting intervention.
So you think the whoring Karl Rove acts, but it’s actually Bush acting? Next you’ll trot out Cheney, Haliburton, no blood for oil, and extoll the “bloody” hands of Code Pink held up during the hearings yesterday on Syria.

Donald Rumsfeld spoke in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday.
“You either ought to change the regime or you ought to do nothing” is what he said.
He would support all out intervention to help the Al Quaeda terrorist side in Syria.

I’m just plain sick of seeing Americans die to fight wars for the muslim world. As far as I can tell, without us fighting these muslim wars, there would be no reason for us to be at war with anyone.
Can you imagine the PR coup that would be for the American president to stand there and announce that we aren’t at war with anyone.

Its a good analysis to be sure, but Don Rumsfeld is saying one option is to go all out to bring terrorists into power in Syria.
