Anthony Weiner is having such a hard time generating support for his limp campaign that he has resorted to paying a rent-a-crowd firm to provide supporters for his events, The Post has learned.
Some of the gung-ho Weiner crowds, including at the Aug. 11 Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan, were really actors who were paid $15 an hour by the California firm Crowds on Demand, according to a source with direct knowledge of the deal.
The source said surrogates for Weiner approached the Santa Monica-based company days after Indiana-native Sydney Leathers came forward to say that Weiner had continued his digital dalliances after resigning from Congress.
The campaign asked the company to have actors seem like either supporters or people who met him and became supporters as a result of that encounter, the source said.
The people would initially be skeptical and then they ask him various questions but would appear then to be convinced by his spiel, according to the source, who said the campaign used Crowds on Demand several times.

Limp? heh-heh I get it...
..sorta like Odungo’s “fainter s”
When they stage protests (or strikes against non-union companies) most of their protesters are being paid. So this is just in step with SOP for dimacrats.
Might be that was the original title before some editor decided to change it. Of course, trying to wrap my brain around someone thinking to themselves, "this is the NY Post, we need to show more decorum!" is giving me a headache.
Paying for Political demonstrators is straight out of the third world arena. We’ve fallen so far.
LOLOLOL!

Political Manpower
Campaigns need manpower and they need it quickly. We can provide that manpower to give your candidate or cause the edge. We can send supporters to a rally,(respectfully) protest outside opposition events, and help with regular campaign tasks such as canvassing or phone-banking.
He had $4.3 Million dollars left over from his congressional campaign funds to spend on this. My guess is that he determined that the only way to make a living, get a lot of cash, etc. was to run for mayor of NYC where he could lawfully use the money.
I’m guess and IMO, his apartment in Uptown, probably his own time, his wife’s time are paid by the funds as consultants and campaign space. IMO, he’s likely made some shady deals with campaign subcontractors, support-supplying temp agencies and the like.
If he’s lucky, again IMO, he’d get half of the $4.3 mil....not a bad payday....he just has to take being ridiculed until election night - that’s all.
“Crowds on Demand”
So you can get paid to be a crowd member. What are the qualifications for that job? Do they pay extra if you vote democrat?
Straight out of the Communist playbook.
Look up and listen to all episodes of the great 50s radio serial, “I was a Communist for the FBI”. All these tactics are presented clearly and scarily. Too bad no one paid attention except us.
Weiner implants?
I promised to kick in a c-note when it happened, and as far as I am concerned it has.
I'm doubling down with $200.00 since we are in a tough Freepathon.
Everyone on the board please help as best you can to keep the lights on!
Jimmy
If you think so, I think so. I only have $100 to spare right now, but I'll slither over to the FReepathon thread and fill out the mail-in-a-check form.
Mr. K is the winner, so he doesn't have to pay.
I’m disappointed his polls are sucking bilgewater now.
For a while I thought he could win and be the perfect face of NYC and the Democrat party.
Bless!
You, too!
Thank you very much, Jimmy Valentine!!
