John Kerry even met with Assad a while back and had glowing things to say about him, IIRC.

I like him, too. I just rarely agree with him.

Same here. He’s like a strangely hit golf ball that crashes onto the billiard table: some comedy, some serendipity, and some random ruin usually in store.

I am having a political identity crisis because I agree with Dennis Kucinich.
Also, O'Reilly was trying to bait Lt. Col Peters in comparing Assad to Hitler in the 1930s and he would be on the side of doing nothing. Peters zinged back that the comparison was if the Nazis and the Japanese were fighting would you want the US to pick a side? BAM, O'Reilly knew he got owned.

You have to respect somebody who speaks on principle rather than party loyalty. Most of the Leftists who were “anti-war” during the Bush years either keep quiet or actively support wars now because of loyalty to Obama and the Democratic Party.
There’s nothing more disgusting in politics than the “it’s bad when the other guy does it, but OK as long as it’s one of our own,” no matter which side of the aisle it’s coming from.

What about a so called Republican like Robert King who is beating the drums for war?
