Where’s the constitutional authority to use force?
Even a limited sucker punch on an enemy requires congressional approval.

Another MISSION ACCOMPLISHED moment for Prince Obama.
Think John Kerry’s gonna get stuck in Syria?
Talk about loose lips, sinking our ships:
“President Obama is considering a strike on Syrian military targets involving sea-launched cruise missiles or possibly long-range bombers that would last no more than two days, according to senior administration officials and reported by Karen DeYoung and Anne Gearan of The Washington Post. Reuters reports that the West has told the opposition to expect a strike “within days.”
The design of the potential attack implies sending a message to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad without becoming entrenched in the 29-month conflict.
The Post notes that the targets would not be directly related to Syrias chemical weapons arsenal and would probably include key government buildings in the capital and perhaps airfields.
Apparently, Assad and members of his family and inner office will not be targets.
So the Syrian military should begin moving their assets into mosques, churches, orphanages, historical sites and hospitals right now!
Obama’s “limited strike” reminds me of Boehner’s “limited” approach to Obamacare.
Talk against it to get votes, but take no real actions.....
Business as usual politics in both.
I in the “let Allah take care of it” camp anyway, but that’s the analysis.
Just like Clinton. Obama doesn’t want to talk about his failed presidency so he decides to send some bombs to Syria. Jew hating Carter would rather Israel be bombed. Wouldn’t be surprised if Obama agrees.
So I guess he is going to publicize the speed, altitude, heading and TOT for our aircraft as well?
That would make as much sense as the rest of this crap.
Why not just make it for a day, call it quits, and then pretend like he did something even though he didn’t?
Extreme amounts of revenues have already been spent by the U.S. Government and several allies to do it, so it will be done.
Everything he does is “half-assed”. Well, aside from spying on patriotic citizens of course.
obamas plan is to destabilize the entire middle east and cause more militant, jihadi muslim control of these countries.
egypt, libyaand syria weren’t unhappy enough with their current leaders so event shad to be made to happen to get these people outof the way for more extremist islamonuts to takeover, and for obama to start arming and funding.
which is exactly what he’s doing.
if obama isn’t the antichrist, he’s his right hand man.
Maybe he can bomb some tents and aspirin dispensaries in the Sudan.
O’Reilly was contradicted by both Ralph Peters and David Hunt when he tried to argue Obama’a POV. They were on together although in different locations and they made him look ridiculous.
BOTH of them refused to assume the notion that it has been proven that the Syrian government deployed the chemical weapons, which is what BOR tried to assume.
He began to get kind of frantic and was reduced to accusing them over and over that “neither of you trust your own government”, then, because your own government says it was the Syrian Regime.
Which only made him look more clueless - say WHAT?? We don’t trust the government?? DUH! That’s supposed to be a BAD thing on our part??
I didn’t watch ‘til the end but apparently he had Krauthammer on later to back up his position against Peters and Hunt.
This is already a cluster and it has not even started yet.
Several retired U.S. military leaders have sent a letter to the President urging him not to use military force in Syria and at the minimum consult with Congress to get a declaration of war or use of military force authorization before starting anything.
I never took calculus in school. Apparently, all that crazy math he did adds up to the magic number of 2 (and sometimes 17 trillion).
