Gov. Chris Christie signed a bill Monday barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, making New Jersey the second state to ban so-called conversion therapy, along with California.
The bill passed both houses of the New Jersey Legislature with bipartisan support in June. Assemblyman Tim Eustace, who sponsored the bill and is openly gay, described the therapy as "an insidious form of child abuse."
In a note accompanying the bill, Christie said he believes people are born gay and that homosexuality is not a sin. I was born with a genetic condition that causes muscular dystrophy. But that doesn’t make it “normal.” Nor would I appreciate any idiot from the government banning therapy “because I was born that way.”
Being gay is not a sin, but the act of homosexuality will always be a sin. It is written in the word of God. No one, not even Obama, can change the word of God.

These bans are clearly fascism. To test these laws, one could continue these therapies with full disclosure that they are not accept by the BLAH BLAH Association... Then they could sue under first amendment rights.
Mark Levin has a good idea about a con-con but the divide in this country is too deep to be solved by constitutional amendments.

I have never trusted or liked the guy.
He is a powermonger who is willing to rub shoulders with, make his bed with, become attached at the hip with anyone who he thinks can advance his own political career and power base, no matter what stripe they are pinted with.

I think its obvious that the rotund New Jersey governor is paving the way for a run at the 2016 Republican presidential nomination and he knows that the RNC honchos will only boost a Republican that basically mimics liberal Democrat positions with a few small deviations, for show. Now Christie has shown that he is easily manipulated by the left, caters to those who despise traditional values and, to put it in the kindest terms, is no friend of conservatives. Another former GOP 'star' bites the dust, right along with Marco 'amnesty' Rubio.

Sean Sasser from MTV’s “The Real World: San Francisco” has died at the age of 44, his longtime partner said. Sasser, who had been HIV positive for 25 years, died Wednesday from mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer.
The reality star died in the Washington home he shared with Michael Kaplan. While he was not one of the original cast members on “The Real World,” he became a household name as his relationship with Pedro Zamora was explored during the show’s third season in 1994. The couple’s exchange of vows during a commitment ceremony, the first ever broadcast on U.S. television, became a landmark moment in TV history.
The couple began dating during the taping of the series. Their relationship and Zamora’s battle with AIDS while living in “The Real World” house with seven strangers became must-see-TV for teens and young adults, many of whom had never been exposed to a gay couple, much less someone living with HIV.

So tell me again how a teenager knows he’s queer? Looks like Christie is stepping in where the Pope quit. As I recall the Pope said he couldn’t make moral judgments but Christie says he can. This makes Christie what? God on earth? Or just the donut King? I prefer my God to be in good shape anyway and not have to turn sideways to get thru a door.
There is no such thing as being gay. It is LEARNED. It is nurture. There is no “gay gene”.
And since “thinking gay” leads to others thinking gay is all right, then, yes, it is a sin. Gay is deadly. Gay kills.

I’m surprised Christie made this declaration BEFORE declaring that gluttony is not a sin.
