Talk about a hypocritical, mealy-mouthed non-apology apology . . . On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough condemned Republicans who "support[ed] George Zimmerman before they even knew the facts of the case." Scarborough then added: "you know, I got out early, said some things about George Zimmerman myself. I shouldn't have said, perhaps. I got overly emotional. I'm not in office. If I were in office I would have apologized."
Scarborough didn't reveal to viewers the "some things" he had said about Zimmerman. In fact, early on in the case, long before the facts were on the table, Scarborough branded Zimmerman a "murderer." But Scarborough doesn't feel the need to apologize because he's not a politician. Is that Scarborough's standard? The host of a major national show can go on the air and cavalierly and unjustly accuse someone of murder. But because he's not in public office, he has no need to apologize?

Disgusting double-standard ping to Today show list.
Zimmerman should sue the bastard. Hit him in his pocketbook.
I am sure ole Joe would just lay there and take it while getting his head smashed into concrete. Well, maybe the pus would take it. He is pathetic.
“Scarborough: I Don’t Apologize For Branding Zimmerman ‘Murderer’ Cause I’m Not Politician” Yes joeie but you are a phony p o s.
An apology would have been a demonstration of dignity and responsibility and character. A refusal to give one when so obviously due shows a lack thereof.
Joe, the ‘politician’ status of a man isn’t the sole determination of when and if an apology is required; it is the ethics, honor and morality of a plain old man that requires it.
Wouldn’t that make Joe a murderer for the death of the intern in his Congressional Office?
Well Joe I don’t apologize for calling you a child molester. Afterall, I’m not a politician either.
Scarborough: I Dont Apologize For Branding Zimmerman Murderer Cause Im Not Politician ....
WTF? Doesn’t anyone else find this more than a bit scary? Since when has the Media become the judge, jury and executioner? What gives these clowns the right to declare someone guilty or innocent without Due process? It’s disgusting and Un-American, and what’s really scary is how so many people just continually allow this sort of thing to happen.
An innocent dead woman was found in Joe Scarborough’s office. Sure the evidence suggests that Scarborough disn’t murder the girl, but I’ll disagree and go ahead and say Scarborough murdered the dead woman found in his office.
Hey, I’m not a politician.
The missing Lori Klausutis suggests
that Scarborough (Romney-backer and attacker of Gov. Palin)
was PROJECTING about being a murderer.
He doesn’t dare apologize, because that admits culpability which would make Zimmerman’s lawsuit a slam dunk, as opposed to the near slam dunk,it is.
Scarborough is one mean guy. That’s the vibe that comes off of him every time I tune into that show. I’d hate to be backstage having to deal with him! And like all “conservatives” who try to ingratiate themselves with libs, he comes off as weak and foolish. In other words: the very definition of a bully.
Joe drinks the Mika/Bloomy/Christie gun control Koolaid.
He also said that Christine will nail down the 2016 nonination while Paul/Cruz+Rubio are trying to outconservative each other.
Joe, you’re not an influential media “star”, either. You’re a mega-RINO on a 5th rate cable network with 10s of viewers, 95% of whom think you’re an idiot. The other 5% are even stupider than you. (Hard to believe though it may be...)
Why can’t we have a “like” button here at FR???!
I don’t think he is named in the lawsuit (but I might be wrong).
Zimmerman’s not a murderer and Scarborough should be off the air.
No joe but you are a murderer... what happened with that intern you animal?????
