Excellent marksmanship or lucky (unlucky for somebody) shot? Any hoodies involved? Like the council person(?) from chitown said, the cops are killing all these young men for no reason.

Nice to see that it was a happy ending.

The dummy died holding a empty pistol. He should have dropped it.

Of course it will. And right in Sharpton's back yard. Note the headline. It could have been just as accurate had it said...
Teenager Armed Gang Member Shot and Killed by an Officer on Foot Patrol in the Bronx
But that doesn't fit the leftist narrative that poor black children are being hunted and slaughtered in the streets.

Indeed. While the death of this kid may bring sadness to his family, someone else will live because of it.

Hunted down like a rabid dog in the streets, no less.

Why does the newspaper article keep referring to the 14 yr old as-”Mr. Douse”.
That seems kind of silly to me.

Ok, at least NYPD teaches their cops gun control.
Oh, did the killed thug have a CCW permit?

This scenario will be repeated increasingly as the social fabric continues to tear. Police duty will pass lumberjack duty in risk to life.

The suspect, Shaaliver Douse, was believed to be part of a youth gang on East 169th Street that called itself the Nine.
He lived at a nearby housing project, and the police said he had been caught with a gun at least one before; his last brush with the law involved his arrest for attempted murder, after a rival gang member was shot in May.
All this, the police said, at age 14.

Only the good Lord would know about such hypothetical questions; the comments seem to read like the lad was bearing an empty gun. Unless that means empty due to firing the one and only shot in it. Still you see a gun pointed at you and hear a shot and can’t clearly connect them, you might think that’s the source of the gunfire. (Though at night the muzzle blaze ought to be visible.) A bad thing to get involved with, empty gun or not.

No payday for Al Not-So-Sharpton on this one: they have VIDEO of “Mr. Douse” [NYT] doing the shooting that caught their attention.
