Inspired by an FR solicitation for donations, actually.
I listened to the interview of one of the jurors, who said Zimmerman was guilty of bad judgment.
I scoffed at the time, but couldn't put words to it, and then I saw the FR ad.
Was Rosa Parks guilty of bad judgment? Should she have just stood?
At what point does an assertion of our right to be secure in our homes become an act of bad judgment?
Should we hand over our wallets, car keys, and possibly our children, should someone of color demand them of us at the point of a knife, a gun, or a stick?
Zimmerman is innocent. He is guilty of policing his neighborhood, and trying to keep it safe.
Martin could have explained he was a guest of someone's in the neighborhood, and Zimmerman would have left him be.
Instead, Martin attacked him, and Zimmerman defended himself.
The world has one less criminal in it, and the money that could have been saved was wasted trying to lynch Zimmerman for it.
Free George Zimmerman.
We are all George Zimmerman, and Bernard Goetz, and the thousands of others who have defended their right to be safe in their homes and their persons.
If only Rosa Parks had stood in the back of the bus until a seat became available.
If only Zimmerman stayed in his car, and looked the other way.
Can you fathom the absurdity of that?
GZ was not asked to stay in his car.
He was never asked to remain in his vehicle:
Dispatcher - Are you following him?
Zimmerman - Yeah.
Dispatcher - Ok, we don’t need you to do that.
Zimmerman - Ok.
I agree. On my Facebook page I have a graphic up that says that, except replaces Zimmerman with the word guns.
RE: Free George Zimmerman.
But isn’t he already free?
RE: Dispatcher - Ok, we dont need you to do that.
Zimmerman - Ok.

So, what happened after Zimmerman’s “OK” remark?
Idiotic analogy.
Not that you are an idiot, rather the analogy.
Dispatcher - Alright sir what is your name?
Zimmerman - George He ran.
Dispatcher - Alright George what’s your last name?
Anybody receiving death threats, under threat of civil rights lawsuits by the DOJ, and in hiding with little or no means to hire countermeasures is the opposite of free.
He’s got an actual bounty on him. There are people willing to pay his killer a reward.
He’s not free by a damn sight.
The jury nearly convicted him based on the fact that by leaving his vehicle in the first place, he ‘took the law into his own hands’.
“If only he’d stayed in the car” is what the juror stated in the interview.
RE: Zimmerman - George He ran.
Dispatcher - Alright George whats your last name?

OK, he gave his last name, but did he follow the Dispatcher’s advise not to follow Trayvon or not?
No flames from me..... I like your thinking on this matter. It finally makes sense of things that were confusing me
America is turning into a 3rd World crap-hole because we have all been “staying in the car” for too long now....I like your post.
She did not advise him of anything, she issued a CYA.
only if you consider looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life because the race baiters have put a price on your head free
simple George headed back to the mail boxes to meet the police (part of the testimony and tapes played in the trial) and during that effort he was attacked by a thug who was bashing his head into the ground after breaking his nose
I use Rosa Parks when liberals say, “why would anyone need an assault rifle?”
I respond, “why did Rosa Parks NEED to sit up front?”
Heads explode and hilarity ensues!
did you not follow the trial at all? you shouldn’t make comments on things you have not followed
No question he got out of truck, but let’s not make up facts in the case. I do not consider what the dispatcher said a “request” or a “command”.
RE: did you not follow the trial at all? you shouldnt make comments on things you have not followed
If I knew what happened I wouldn’t be commenting, read my posts -— I AM ASKING QUESTIONS.
