Martin Protests In New York
Pinkbell

Posted on 07/14/2013 7:45:01 PM PDT by Pinkbell

Anyone watching the huge Trayvon Martin protests in New York City? According to the guy filming, he's seen at least 8 arrests, there has been pepper spray, and several groups of protestors have joined together. The people out are using Occupy Wall Street chants, so I think they are involved.

Link to a video that is not of great quality:

Is there a list of all the protest locations?

I think Ben Crump has a list.

Media really wants something.

So does the Obama cabal.

It's just the excuse they need.

“Whose streets? Our streets!” is a common Occupy Wall Street chant. I’ve heart that one before.

I’m going to have a neighbor moving in about 1/2 mile from me.

I can feel the oxygen being sucked out of the air already.

Exactly. All they are doing is is making motorists say, “arrest theses morons.” Any sympathy they had to the cause went out the window.

“I say whites need to just go on strike.”

Now there is a course of action whose time has definitely arrived! With enough support from enough taxpayers it would adjust some attitudes in short order including that of the Obama Administration.

I take it you are talking about all the neon signs in Times Square, not posters being carried by protestors? Nobody really lives in Times Square, it’s the Theatre District, the Great White Way (ha! that’s not a racial reference), Broadway! And in its way, it can be a really great place, there’s a lot of energy there.

But if there’s some big St. Trayvon thing going on, it’s best to be elsewhere!

And we are having the fight of our lives here to keep out hundreds of 500 foot tall Industrial Wind turbines with hundreds of bright red lights flashing in uniso for as far as the eye can see.

Don't worry. The flashing lights aren't there to hypnotize you or anything. Please look closely right here.

“Maybe someone will Zimmer their ass.”

WOW you just brought back a memory. Remember Bernard Goetz? He had such a fan club that people were wearing T-shirts that read “Anyone who tries to rob Geotz it”

Fast forward several decades now it’s “Zimmer their ass”.

The audacity of hope.

I thought Obama's statement out of line. There is no need for "honoring" TM. Sympathy for the parents, fine. Elevating TM is wrong. He was not leading an exemplary life.

The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin."

Wind turbines

Don't worry, they'll be abandoned and be torn down soon enough.

Oh no, the community organizers of the regime have their herd better constrained than that.
