Many of the highest paid CEOs are profiting at the expense of their stockholders – and at the expense of American taxpayers, according to a study released Wednesday morning by the progressive Institute for Policy Studies.A surprising 38 percent of these corporate titans were either fired involuntary, led companies that were penalized for fraud, or received a taxpayer bailout after the 2008 financial crash.“This report should put an end to any remaining sense that we have ‘pay for performance’ in corporate America,” said Sarah Anderson, a co-author of the report and a director at the Washington-based think tank. Most CEOs defend...

Anyone watching the huge Trayvon Martin protests in New York City? According to the guy filming, he's seen at least 8 arrests, there has been pepper spray, and several groups of protestors have joined together. The people out are using Occupy Wall Street chants, so I think they are involved. • Zero Wall Street Executives Have Been Arrested, While Over 7,700 Wall Street Protesters Have

An article in The Contributor today tells the startling news from Occupy Arrests: Over 7,700 Wall Street protesters have been arrested since September 2011. That’s 7,700 more protesters arrested than Wall Street executives, even after the largest financial crisis in history. Some people wonder if no Wall Street executives were jailed because no Wall Streeters actually did anything illegal, however unethical their actions. We strongly don’t think this is the case. You can read the cases against specific individuals like Jon Corzine (here, here, and here), Dick Fuld (here, here, and here), and Angelo Mozilo (here, here, and here). But...
  • Occupy Admits Its Real Goal: Communism

The Left: An Occupy organizer admitted over the weekend that the goal of his protest group was to "overthrow the capitalist system and build communism." So the cat's out of the bag again on this bunch. Where is the outrage? The true agenda of the Occupy movement has been revealed — it's a totalitarian one. Billing itself as a spontaneous people's revolution and embraced by the media and Democrat political establishment, Occupy is really a destructive band of thugs whose goal is the violent demise of democracy. Speaking at a "People's Assembly" in Washington, former Amalgamated Transit Union local 689...
  • Occupy's anarchists seen as both divisive, crucial

Every time windows are smashed and clashes erupt with police at Occupy protests in Oakland and San Francisco, one group is in the thick of it: masked, black-clad anarchists known as the Black Bloc. Police say they are pure trouble and point to conflicts at last week's May Day rallies as the most recent example. Most pacifist protesters wish they would go away. Hard-core Occupiers say they like having them around to diversify their movement's tactics. Exactly who makes up the Black Bloc is, by design, a bit of a mystery. Adherents rarely reveal their identity and say they aren't...

Sally Kohn, a former senior strategist at the Soros-funded Center for Community Change, has been hired as a Fox News Contributor. Soros is the controversial hedge fund billionaire, convicted of insider trading in France, who finances the “progressive” movement in the U.S. An open lesbian who shuns feminine attire and frequently wears a suit jacket, Kohn is joining Fox News after being a regular on such programs as “The Ed Show” on liberal rival MSNBC. The former chair of the board of the Center for Community Change, Cecilia Munoz, was recently named the Director of the Domestic Policy Council in...
  • 'Take Back the Capitol' protests at lawmakers' offices (All Libs and Union Peasants)

Dozens of protesters staged sit-ins in front of lawmakers' offices Tuesday and several hundred more camped out on the National Mall as part of a new movement calling itself "Take Back the Capitol." U.S. Capitol Police said one person was arrested for unlawful entry at the office of Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Missouri. Borrowing language from the Occupy movement and drawing demonstrators "from Occupy sites from coast to coast," the movement says its goal is to affect congressional legislation. "For far too long, Congress has been catering to the 1% instead of representing the 99%," the movement says on its website,...
