I now call (to)...return full authority back to a democratically elected civilian government as soon as possible through an inclusive and transparent process

First time I have ever agreed with this putz, as I too want to see a return of a democratically elected......... Egypt?

I thought he was talking about the USA.

I am incensed that we have transitioned from a love and devotion of freedom, to that of democracy. Too bad the GOP sucks so much at promoting freedom.

I suppose the POS is worried that Egypt might actually become a friendly nation again. Couldn’t give aid to a country like that.

In a carefully worded statement, Obama said he was "deeply concerned" by the military's move to topple Morsi's government and suspend Egypt's constitution. He said he was ordering the U.S. government to assess what the military's actions meant for U.S. foreign aid to Egypt -- $1.5 billion a year in military and economic assistance.

Is the current $1.5 Billion going to the Muslim Brotherhood, or the actual people of Egypt? Taking that away from the alleged corrupt Morsi regime might not be a bad thing for the new government.

It takes a special diplomatic finesse to manage to alienate both sides at the same time.

Well, I will give him this - he is consistent.

He is an enemy of freedom anywhere.

Dear Lord, give us the strength to see this through.

The way to help Egypt is for the military to get back in control and make the country safe. If they can do that, tourism will again provide a whole lot of money.

The answer for any country is self-sufficiency. The US should butt out and get concerned about the invaders who have just about destroyed the US.

Kerry’s Secret Gift to Egypt
Jun 6, 2013 4:21 PM EDT

Last month John Kerry quietly approved huge arms shipments to Egypt—despite Cairo’s ongoing violation of human rights. Josh Rogin reports.

While employees of American NGOs sat in Egyptian prisons, Secretary of State John Kerry quietly waived the law that would prevent the U.S. from sending the Egyptian military $1.3 billion worth of weapons this year.

Even the people of Egypt understand that King 0bamadullah does not represent Americans. 0bama funded Morsi's rise to power; something no American would have done.

Just like Egypt, we have a Constitution too but that doesn't mean our President is honoring it. He unilaterally overturns and suspends Federal Laws to win elections. We should learn from how Egypt is remedying their problem.
