Looks like those hundreds of millions of dollars the US gave Egypt were FINALLY put to some PRACTICAL USE, and Obama doesn’t like it-—suddenly he wants to review it.
The rhetoric currently coming from the WH keeps invoking how troubled he is about a democratically elected government should be respected—among other things, he might be seeing the writing on the wall .
What’s interesting is that this at last seems to be The TRUE Arab Spring people were prematurely describing over a year ago-—you know, the one that somehow put a diehard radical Islamist, Morsi in office. And if the MILITARY is the institution that seized power and helped “topple” Morsi, it looks like they didn’t see themselves as having much to gain
from the US/Morsi Big Dollar largesse.
