The U.S. Supreme Court dumped the federal Defense of Marriage Act and declined to reinstate a ban on same-sex marriage in California on Wednesday.
And now the Empire State Building has turned the colors of the rainbow in a show of support for Gay Pride Weekend.

Thank you. Still don’t know why the mod edited my post like he did, unfortunately.
And when Mother Teresa died, they refused to light it Blue for her.
If the Twin Towers were still alive they (each)would have been draped with a pair of testicles in support of gay male marriage. This country is disgusting - at least its leaders are.
Thank you for the reminder.
I fully expect a “visit” from God upon this country this summer... oh how far we have fallen...
Without a shot being fired.
Any city that would consider Bloomberg, Weiner and Baldwin for mayor needs to be put under marshal law.
They don’t say what the guy who got 120 years did.
“Its amazing that after 9/11, weve been taken over by Muslims and gays.”
Have you read the “Harbinger” by Jonathan Cahn?

A Catholic group is rallying its troops after it says the building “stiffed” Mother Teresa, denying a request to light up the landmark in blue and white lights in commemoration of the Nobel Peace Prize winner’s birth.
...Three months after Catholic League officials submitted an application, its leaders say, they were stunned to receive a rejection. No explanation was given to them.
...”Although ESB has a tradition of lightings for the religious holidays of Easter, Eid al-Fitr, Hanukkah, and Christmas, our lighting partnership guidelines — with which all organizations must agree as a condition for submitting an application — state clearly that we do not accommodate requests for religious figures or requests by religions and religious organizations.”
...The Catholic League and its allies called the long-awaited statement less than illuminating. “Malkin is either misinformed or he is lying,” said Donohue, adding that John Cardinal O’Connor’s death was recognized with red and white lighting in 2005.
The death of Pope John Paul II was marked with a dimming of the lights overnight...
I will never willing visit that filthy city again. Last time there, I was not impressed. Some of the rudest people I've ever met.
Gay Pride month is getting closer to receiving official recognition every day.
Certainly the Lavender robed Justices who decree from the bench “the new normal” have seen fit to make such declarations of “gay freedom” on the eve of the Gay Pride Parades twice now (Lawrence v. Texas and now with the striking down of DOMA and invalidating the will of California voters by tossing the case out and refusing to enforce the vacation of the appeals’ court ruling).
Maybe homosexual academics want to have something to prance behind other than the riots over the closing of a mob run speakeasy.
Anyone argue that the USA is NOT the Beast System?
First I heard about it. And yes, I’m none too fond of NYC too.
