Dissenting from this morning's opinion on the Defense of Marriage Act, Justice Antonin Scalia – as expected – holds nothing back. In a ripping dissent, Scalia says that Justice Anthony Kennedy and his colleagues in the majority have resorted to calling opponents of gay marriage "enemies of the human race."

How do we “take the Senate and keep the House” when each institution is pretty well lost?
Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are exceptions in the Senate and there are more in the House but my view is that over 90 percent of the Republican folks we have elected are business as ususal politicians.
The rest need to be flushed out in the primaries and if they win them a third party alternative must be used to try to flush the RINO’s in the general election.
Otherwise we continue the slow decline.
Senators like Rob Portman of Ohio and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska are Republicans openly saying they support gay marriage.
If we keep sending the business as usual crowd to DC others will join them in making the switch.
The Scott Brown’s and Linda McMahon’s are the political equivalents of those who have changed their positions to support gay marriage like Rob Portman and Lisa Murkowski.
They would have probably done to Bork what Arlen Specter did to him back in the 1980’s.
There is law.
Law is force. Law is Politics. Law is what ever those who have the monopoly on violence want it to be.
What we have lost is any sort of Justice.

Yes, I suppose Walker has had more “executive experience” under more hostile high pressure than any Governor since Reagan in CA. I just like the “ring” of Cruz-n-Walker, that’s all.

Ginsburg was confirmed by the Senate on a 96 to 3 vote. The only Republicans voting against: Jessie Helms (NC), Don Nickles (OK), Robert Smith (NH). One Democrat did not vote.
At the confirmation hearing Ms. Ginsburg refused to answer a question as to the limits and proper role of jurisprudence.
Ginsberg is on the court because the Republicans (with the exception of the 3 listed above) voiced their approval of an activist progressive court by voting for her confirmation.
