Now, this is huge news:
President Obama is set to announce his plan this week to address the growing threat of climate change.
We'll know more specifics on Tuesday, but it's expected he'll offer a bold, national approach to reducing carbon pollution -- and lay out a vision to lead global efforts to fight climate change.
The powerful, well-financed forces who still deny the science behind climate change aren't going to like this -- and they'll be fighting this progress every step of the way. In fact, before he's even seen the plan, House Speaker John Boehner is calling it "absolutely crazy."
That's why President Obama is calling on all of us -- anyone who believes that climate change is a threat -- to join him in taking action right now.

I'm sure nobama has carefully calculated how much pain he must inflict before wind and solar become commercially viable.
For once, Boehner gets it right. Don't need to see the plan. Is it a plan? Does it involve global warming? Is the plan from nobama? Then it's "absolutely crazy."
A couple of question for Mr. Carson:
1. By what measure do you determine global warming is a growing threat?
2. What is the rate of growth?
How much CO2 has AF1 spewed out of its engines during all of these vacations the Kenyan seems to think he’s earned? Include AF2 for Biden’s and Moochelle’s ridiculous ventures and we’re talking enough exhaust to make the atmosphere of Venus smell like a breath of fresh air.
Sounds like desperation. Obama’s popularity supposedly wasn’t supposed to slip below the 47% floor, but it’s now at 44. This frantic effort to gin up enthusiasm for Obama’s ‘climate change pivot’ has more of the look and feel of wholesale panic.
Just think what it will look like once Obamacare kicks in.
Can’t we do a cost benefit analysis of all of this? For example, if we strangle power plants too much, and some shut down or curtail operations, we could see rolling blackouts and brownouts. Can we weigh potential blackouts and brownouts against the impact we would have on “climate change” before we impose such policies? Or is that beyond the mindset of liberals to weigh costs and benefits?
Future historians will write of an almost laughable (if it weren’t so serious) chapter in American history where the nation was forced into financial ruin by an unscrupulous and dispicable politician using stories of a giant smog monster that could only be stopped by paying off his friends in the green energy money laundering racket.
Do people in Obama’s base, such as Obama phone girl, really care about global warming? Or does he feel the need to placate his enviro-nazi base? Will the enviro-nazis like sitting in the dark and summer heat if power is cut due to rolling blackouts or brownouts?

With Third World countries burning more carbon than ever, how exactly would decreasing our emissions make one bit of difference other than to cripple us economically?
Liberals love suffering Sebelius was so happy to deny that dying child a chance at an adult lung transplant, you cd taste it. If Obama, who lives a personal lifestyle of lavish excess, presided over rolling blackouts, brownouts, etc., he’d be so thrilled & delighted he’d likely pop.
This is just speculation, but I don’t think rank & file Dems care all that much about Climate Change. But most of them, if reduced to sitting in a darkened furnace of summer heat, wd find a way to blame Republicans. Bank on it.

That is the goal. Obama is avenging himself on the Post Colonial Superpower. Crippling the US economically is a feature not a bug in any/all his plans.

I'm willing to be reasonable on this one and let them exercise some carbon offsets. If The Won (Again), Big Mooch, and Slow Joe all hold their breath till all that CO2 from all those flights is offset, I'd be willing to call it even.
One has to remember how liberal progressives define "science":

A few weeks ago, my lib neighbor asked me to house sit for a few days. When they got back exchange money and keys, they asked how everything was, I made a comment that we had a heavy rain storm, but that was it.
Out of no where they blamed the rain on climate change and muttered something about guns. I though that was odd, and now Obama wants to talk global warming. I know they are bog Obama supporters, did he send his big supports something in advance?
Coincidentally, I split the money they gave me between the NRA and the Heritage Foundation.
ANYONE who can't see that Climate Change is code for Raising Prices and appeasing the Greenies, no more, no less, is obviously a Democrat.
