Chris Hayes started out tonight on the subject saying Rubio is jumping ship on ‘his own immigration bill’, his emphasis.
Personally I am taking issue with Rubio’s actions and especially words on this bill. He's been playing Kerby salesman making wild claims about it but maybe now realizes its not selling, or maybe that was his plan all along, to tease and bail.
The one single thing he says he objects to is border enforcement stuff but if you think about it any bill they pass will depend on an POTUS appointee loyalist to enforce it, which would be an Obama Holder type guy. So what's his point? To tease and say that immigration reform will only work if he is POTUS?
The way I figure it is that Bush/McCain started an ‘immigration reform’ fire in 2006 to 2007 and it tore the GOP apart in civil war and alienated Hispanics and helped accelerate the disaster, because it was a disaster, so 8 years later Rubio joins Schumer and Durbin in trying the same thing....expecting..
So the angry not very thoughtful ‘comments’ about him don’t surprise me.
So lets say his whole game plan is to tease and bolt on this,
then I guess the ONLY aspect he is critical of is border enforcement because that is completely independent of the actual illegals themselves,
so the illegals themselves are OK, its Obama’s enforcement that is at fault here.
How else to explain his talking points?
I don’t know. He wasn’t good on it when he was in the statehouse, either. Part is his heritage. Part is his history as a Jeb protege. He can still get beyond this if he makes some good decisions and backs out. If he keeps trying to sell this garbage, he’s going to be done polically.

I been studying rubio’s sales pitches and he makes only two main points over and over:
1) That this bill will bring them out of shadows and get them paying taxes and keep them of public dole, heck, so we need this to cut the deficit and to pay our SS and medicare while they cut our lawns too (we know this is a lie now)
2)That Once conservatives believe we have a bill that WILL secure the border then they will support it NO MATTER what else is in the bill (even if #1 is a lie AND the illegals get to vote)

Rubio’s ‘plan’ is rubbish.
If the GOP’s designated latino front man was serious about the illegal alien problem he would demand that they be deported, like Eisenhower did during his Presidency.
Deportation is the law, after all.
