“Eric Holder pledged .......”

Is that anything like the oath he took to uphold the Constitution?

This a$$hat needs to be in prison.... nothing less will do.

“Holder Orders Media To Report That He Will Protect First Amendment. If They Refuse, He Will Order Them Indefinitely Detained By Homeland Security.”

Translated, that means: “Now that I’ve been caught, I guess I’ll start to reluctantly abide by constitutional protections of a free and unfettered ‘media.’”

And the newly free and unfettered “media” swiftly returned to its rightful place at Obama’s feet, gazing upward adoringly.

Lets see. He has an off the record meeting with media sycophants to tell
them he believes in Freedom of speech?

“protect the first amendment rights of the media at a closed door, off-the-record meeting”.

That statement is contradictory, at best-I think Holder needs to be fired for any of a dozen reasons and put on trial, but perhaps I’m being harsh...

Yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder pledged to protect the first amendment rights of the media at a closed door, off-the-record meeting.

This is foul, almost profane. I am sure there is a proverb here.

How about the second and that in itself will protect the others.

Holder ...said officials would seek procedural and possibly legislative changes to protect journalists’ First Amendment rights."

This from the person who went judge shopping to obtain the warrant. I can't believe how dumb journalist could be to have attended this briefing.

When was the First Amendment limited to journalist? Freedom of the press is a right guaranteed to the people, not to some specific trade, profession, or special interest group.

Holder will soon break that promise. Here in CA the State Senate passed eight (8) new anti-gun laws, including one that requires ammo registry and an ammo permit to buy ammunition. Once the 2nd Amendment is no longer protected, the 1st Amendment will follow.

“Yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder pledged to protect the first amendment rights of the media at a closed door, off-the-record meeting. “

1. It wasn’t the “media”. It was only a few of them.

2. Why is this news (an AG saying he would follow the Bill of Rights)?

3. Why does an AG even feel compelled to state the obvious - that an AG must follow the Bill of Rights?

4. Does this mean he will follow the 1st Amendment from now on and acknowledges that he didn’t follow it before?

5. why is this being provided via off-the-record session? is the message here that he can’t say something this “extreme” in an on-the-record session?

Impeach this evil SOB

Lie-beral Argument: The founders didn’t know about Twitter, Facebook, Websites, Radio and Television.....

Because they think they can ban an AR-15 because the founders never knew of them, just you wait, the morons in the Main Stream Media press will cut their own throat by claiming the same stuipid logic applies to their own trade.....

Holder has always been a vigorous defender of his right to free speech. I’m not certain why the Little People feel it applies to us too.

Of course he will. Unfortunately he thinks the 1st ammendment only protects speech he agrees with.
