LOS ANGELES (AP) — Protesters rallied in dozens of cities Saturday as part of a global protest against seed giant Monsanto and the genetically modified food it produces, organizers said.

Organizers said "March Against Monsanto" protests were held in 52 countries and 436 cities, including Los Angeles where demonstrators waved signs that read "Real Food 4 Real People" and "Label GMOs, It's Our Right to Know."

… The U.S. Senate this week overwhelmingly rejected a bill that would allow states to require labeling of genetically modified foods.

Neurotoxins are a result in these modified pest resistant crops.

Just because a few smelly, ignorant hippie faggots oppose this, doesn’t mean that it disqualifies other objections.

I don’t trust the voodoo seeds either.

My post was directed at one of the supporters of Monsanto on here that thinks its OK to subsidize big Ag. I am really concerned that we use tax dollars to cover bad economic theory

Maybe I should just stick to the bacon?

You could grow a pair of balls and go bow hunting once in a while...

well, that seed vault being stocked in that Norwegian mountain will not have ANY engineered seeds in it. That might be a clue as to the useless nature of the Monsanto engineered seeds/plants.

You’re right.

Bush 41 used the term “New world Order” over and over.

His son had all the goods on Obama and could have stopped that avowed enemy from becoming president.

They’re going to do what’s necessary to bring on their NWO.

Just the hormones given to dairy cattle for that extra milk production causes young girls to physically mature faster than they should, mental disorders such as early onset liberalism are just one of the ill effects...

While I would agree that technology is useful, sometimes the question of who it is useful for should be asked. (Like I really trust the frankenstein creations in laboratories from our wonderfully conservative universities?)

Whole Foods says there is growing demand for products that don't use GMOs, with sales of products with a "Non-GMO" verification label spiking between 15 percent and 30 percent.

I don't work for them, nor know anyone who does - but Safeway has an amazing organic line out. Most of it is specifically labelled as non-GMO. They basically have a non-GMO product to match every kind of Franken-food. And, the prices are great, plus lots of coupons.

I've tried some other supermarket organic brands (for instance, cereal) and they tasted like cardboard. Not Safeway's...

Well, the push has been on for decades to position the nations for Global Governance....this is not something recent, it’s been esculating for a very long time.

But nothing could have stopped Obama...the facts ‘were made known’.... and still the dumbdowned idiotic lowlifers voted for him.

I agree. But I still believe that he could have been stopped.

J Edgar Hoover would have found a way.

I’m against crony capitalism, political protection and withholding of information-and of course a handful of companies controlling our food supply. Which side are you on?

There are probably many more stories like these...not being report in US media.

Farmer Suicides and Bt Cotton Nightmare Unfolding in India

More Illnesses Linked to Bt Crops Bt cotton, India

… The team interviewed 23 of the farm and factory workers who fell ill after having handled Bt cotton. All had itching skin, 20 had eruptions on the body, and 13 had swollen faces. In some cases, the itching was so bad that they had to discontinue work, or take anti-allergy medicine in order to be able to work.

Mass Deaths in Sheep Grazing on Bt Cotton (india)

… At least 1 820 sheep were reported dead after grazing on post-harvest Bt cotton crops; the symptoms and post-mortem findings strongly suggest they died from severe toxicity. This was uncovered in a preliminary investigation conducted by civil society organisations in just four villages in the Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh in India. The actual problem is likely to be much greater

You, Toddsterpatriot, are against or for something based on liberals being for or against it. Wake up and think. Sometimes there is common right or wrong.

The fifth column media enemy of We The People were the reson the truth about little barry basatrd boy never made it into the nation's awareness, to prevent the fraudulent faggot from being elected.

People keep saying that he would have been voted for by black overwhelmingly reagrdless of what came out from the media. That is specious at best, foolish at worst. Black people do not like to be lied to to manipulate them like cattle. Had the media done the job of the fourth estate the lies spewing from Steven Barnard Dunham, aka Barry Soetoro, would have disgusted black voters. So the global elite who own and command the media bitches amde sure the truth about little barry never became headlines. And if anyone doubts the power of those behind the scenes elite rulers, look at how one hillary clinton sat down and shut up when told to allow barry to win!

Many people currently have problems with the food source because of genetic modification accomplished through hybridization. Wheat has been modified to contain more protein, gluten. The potentially fatal ciliac syndrome is activated by gluten. And many people have a less serious but still debilitating gluten intolerance.
This is just one example I know of. I don’t want to wait to find out what GM food can do to us.

… Monsanto’s Roundup weedkiller, or the NK603 Roundup-resistant GM maize also developed by Monsanto, scientists found that rats exposed to even the smallest amounts, developed mammary tumours and severe liver and kidney damage as early as four months in males, and seven months for females, compared with 23 and 14 months respectively for a control group

.. GM crops have been approved for human consumption on the basis of 90-day animal feeding trials. But three months is the equivalent of late adolescence in rats, who can live for almost two years (700 days), and there have long been calls to study the effects over the course of a lifetime.link
