By stating they complied with the requirements of the 4th amendment, you are assuming the probable cause was not based on falsified evidence or statements. Quite an assumption given this crew.

Holder swore an oath at the beginning of a hearing at which he said he'd *never* been a part of, or even heard of, any *potential* prosecution of a journalist. Now his own department has confirmed that he personally reviewed and approved a warrant that explicitly treated a reporter as a criminal co-conspirator. I'll leave it to the legal experts to determine whether that constitutes perjury, but it certainly looks profoundly dishonest. The Huffington Post (!) called for Holder's ouster this morning, and that was before DOJ confirmed NBC's report. Those calls may grow louder. Enjoy your long weekend, Mr. Attorney General.

… You see, this was not just any search warrant, the Justice Department wanted permission to access James Rosen's communications without letting him know afterwards, which is very unusual its so rare that two judges said no before the DOJ found one who would approve.
Ultimately what this means is this wasn't any "rubber-stamp" type search warrant, they had to appeal twice to get their search approved. It is highly unlikely that even Eric Holder would forget an action against a major news organization which is rare enough, but one that took three tries to get a judges approval is even rarer.
And that right there is the scary thing. Just like meeting the IRS protesters with armed Homeland Security. It has just been disclosed that the Tea Party was unfairly being targeted, an accident right? To show how humble they are, they show us their force. It is past time.

First of all, this isn’t much of a bombshell compared to the rest of the news for the last two weeks. Unless I’m missing something, don’t you always try to conceal warrants from people you’re investigating?
Second, I’m with you. We need some bombshells that do some damage to the traitors and felons running this administration. Sending Lerner home to collect her pay without working is hardly bombshell damage. Let’s see some jail time and lots of pensions cancelled. That would help the economy as well as morale among taxpayers and patriots.
They’re stuck. Either he (by signing the request for the records) lied to the judge or Holder lied directly to Congress.

Holder spoke a non-sequitur in the hearing before Congress. He said the “President’s pardon power is absolute.” He was signaling that he expected one.
He will not go quietly. And he won’t go down without one, or, he will take a shiiteload of people with him. 0bama and the Clintons included.

As I read FR today I noticed so many threads with the word “bombshell” in them, and it just jumped out at me that everyone one of these bombshells is missing the mark by miles.
I am just incredibly annoyed that no one is actually being held accountable for anything.
